Golden feet trailed over the grass lightly, barely touching it as she trotted. Already Temari was feeling the slowing of her muscles and the weight in her belly. The whippet-thin wild dog's stomach showed any weight she gained, so of course it was already amazingly obvious she was pregnant.
Even her deep chest couldn't hide the fact.
Sighing because she wanted to run, Temari looked back at her stomach and reconsidered the action. There was no way she would risk it, she ran so fast that sometimes she thought she would kill the pups in her belly and now that they were actually showing she was scared beyond words to do anything wrong. She'd carried a litter of pups before, but for some reason because she knew who's they were this time, because she loved Jamaa that much... she just couldn't risk it.
"I hate being fat." Temari murrmered over the grasslands sadly. ninja

[. Rozu .] Red eyes scanned over the vast, empy grasslands as the chocolate wild dog walked slowly forawrd. After a quick meal of a small, scrawny rabbit, Damalis's stomach was comfortably full, but knowing the size of the small creature, she knew it wouldn't last long-- Better not burn it off too quickly.
White paws stopped in their tracks and dark ears fanned forward as a second set of pawsteps came into hearing range. Nostrils flared and mouth opened as she tasted the air for any scents that may have floated by without her noticing, but was caught confused as the only smell she could pick up was the sweet grass below and her own. Whirling around, the thought of someone following her made her cringe, but her mind calmed after a moment of thinking. "Probably just a rabbit." Damalis mumbled with a shrug and took a seat, curling her tail around her paws with a content sigh.

Sharp pastel green eyes flashed in the direction of the noise she'd just heard as Temari kept walking. The sound was too large to be a hare or any other small creature, though she did hope on some level it was just Topaz keeping an eye on her thanks to Jamaa's sense of worry.
Laying one of her large ears against her head as the other pricked up straight, Temari sat down for a moment and looked around, one of her front paws picked up in curiosity as the other rubbed her stomach. She didn't want to run away from trouble today, she couldn't even if she tried.
"Hello?" her silk voice called out shakily. ninja

[. Rozu .] "Definately not a rabbit..." Eyes widened a bit and ears perked back up instantly as she heard the voice rang out from behind her. Though, listening to the softer tone, it didn't post as much of a threat, though it was best not to take chances. Curiosity growing, Damalis lifted her head a bit higher to hopefully catch sight of what had called out. Pulling herself to her paws, she took a step forward.
"Hello?" She echoed, staring out in the direction she thought the noise had come from.

Temari smiled softly and stood up to walk forward, nearly bumping into Damalis as she did so. She blushed a little and smiled brightly.
"Oh hello. It's nice to meet another wild dog rather than a lion or something." Temari ghosted faintly, her eyes danced as she sat back down and leaned her head jovially to the side.
Honestly she was quite happy to bump into the other, it gave her someone to talk to as well as someone to NOT run away from. ninja

Damalis was utterly surprised that the second wild dog was so much closer then she had predicted. Though, it was always nice to meet others of her own kind. At once she noticed that she was carrying pups, judging from her size it wasn't a terribly huge litter. The thought of the small warm bodies of new life brightened her spirits slightly and she put on a grin as her red eyes met the other's.
"Lions." She chuckled. "Met one once, rather nice fellow." White paws slid forward as Dama took a seat a few paces infront of Temari. "Though, I think I was lucky that time."

"Oh, don't get me wrong, I've met quite a few in my time and raised one as well. I just don't need to meet an adult that wants to eat me when I'm too pregnant to run very fast." Temari explained softly, her pastel green eyes smiling at the other.
"So my cousin, what brings you around these parts?" she'd never seen a dog that wasn't part of the mpinzani pack anywhere near here, though to be honest she waas simply on the borders, so there was a possibility of it.
Running a paw over her belly as one of the pups within her gave a rather sharp kick to a kidney, the female painted wolf sighed and hoped the paw would calm them down. It wouldn't be very long until she had her pups, already she was bulging more than she had a few days ago. ninja

"Hm. Seems like you've had more experience then I have." Dama nodded, but suddenly froze, a slight surprised-- Impressed look on her face. With a brow raised, head turned back to the golden colored dog. "Raised? You've raised a lion before?"
Indeed, these lands were strange, though there was somthing different about them, Damalis supposed that there was a pack around... Perhaps she knew of them. "I'm nothing more then a traveler. But..." Eyes swelled with curiosity and a grin spread across her face. "Are you part of a pack?" She had heard about them, but never had the opportunitie to actually meet someone that was actually a part of one.
