GENERAL
Classed and a lesser Devil, Violette works as a Demon Guidance and Management Officer (also known as ‘Parole Officer’). Her job is to basicly monitor demons who work within the mortal world, making sure they do not infact break or bend any of the laws decided and laid down between heaven and hell in the interactions with mortals. Violette particular deals with Demons, Devils and Spirits who have proven to be ‘difficult’ in the past, usually with marks of disobedience against their records.
Violette has passed all classes in basic hell magic and suppressing powers (used particular in the control and manipulation of mortals) but has also graduated from advanced classes in Hell magic and summoning, classes usually not open to Devils.
Through heavy studying, determination and coming first in almost all her classes, Violette has excelled up the career ladder as one of the few Devils in the history of hell to be appointed any authority in the dealing of Demons. Despite her lesser status she is more powerful than many lower level Demons and often has to prove herself to the Demons around her.
Although Violette is nearly 200 years old, she resides in the body of a 17 years old.
PERSONALITY
Very intelligent but easily stressed out by her job. Violette obsessively cleans and organises her desk and records, but regardless of her cold manners and ruthless efficiency she suffers from numerous obsessive compulsive disorders and is incredibly self conscious when any of her superiors are around. Her personal interests are organization, cleanliness and life style magazines.
CLOTHES
Likes to dress in simple skirts and shirts, her name tag always clean and clear to read. Almost always wearing baggy, striped stockings that pile on the top of her boots, numerous jewellery and accessories about her body (she particularly likes skull and bat shapes). Has a collection of novelty ties she likes to use, changing to a new one each day.
SHORT STORY SUMMARY
When Demo awakens in the mortal world Violette is set on the case to check out who this newly awoken Demon is and how he is to be assessed for work (whether it be within the mortal world or back in hell). However, the case proves difficult as Demo has no recollection of his past or powers and claims he is tied to Christie who ‘summoned’ him. Violette is tied to do little other than allow Demo to remain with Christie until she can find out who Demo really is.
Returning to hell to try and work on the case and discover the identity of Demo, Violette is approached by the practically fabled parole officer, Ru who has volunteered to be the close minder of Demo in the mortal world.
Violette soon finds herself unwrapping a long and thick trail through Demo’s past, discovering why the young Demon had been locked away and is quickly wrapped up in Demo’s new problems (particularly the interest of other higher demons and monsters).
EXTRA INFO/SPOILERS
* Violettes scythe is a custom made model. When it is full sized it’s staff is almost a foot taller than her, the blade being 3 foot in length on it’s own. For convenience however Violette usually carries it around in her shirt pocket, using it as a ball point pen.
* When Violette is stressed out she uses a stress reliever in the novelty shape of a little bat which squeaks when squeezed.
