scream really angry right now. sorry if no one really cares just need a place to blow off some steam.
so im in the car, right. me, my dad, my step mom, and step brother. my step brother being really random and a major homophobe blurts out "gay people are gross". evil i dont think he knew im bi, but he sure found out after his little remark. my dad asked what he said and i told him, definitely taking care to make sure everyone knew that my opinion certainly didnt match. my dads like "no need to get all angry about it" and i go "why shouldnt i?! its offensive!!". then my step brother mutters "if youre gay...". and of course i retort "well i AM BI, so why dont you just shut up?!!". and my dads all "theres no need to talk that way". im sitting there thinking yeah, youre right, i really should have told him to go ******** himself but i was censoring myself since i was in front of you and your wife...
sorry everyone for my bitching sweatdrop just REALLY ANGRY!!!

I know the feeling, hon. It sucks. My younger siblings say "that's gay" all the time (and so does one of my new roommates, the joy). When we were selling our house a gay couple came to look at it, and my little sister said "we shouldn't sell them the house. And if we do we should make them pay more."
Really pissed me off. They don't know I'm a lesbian, but I went all pro-gay on her.
Makes me sick, it does. I think heteroes are gross. So there. (Okay, not really... xd )

Oh man, you have every right to be pissed. My brother used to be a major homophobe (ironically, for a while we were all convinced he was gay and trying to cover it up xd ) and one day he said (and he new I was bi) that he hated gay people. When I asked why, all he would say is "I just do". I was so mad (any type of prejudice sets me off), I fought with him for a full hour. I didn't even speak to him for days after that (my brother is quite skilled at positively infuriating me). Even after I was talking to him again, I called him by the name "you ******** homophobe" for a month or two. It actually got to thew point that he would answer to it (I didn't use his actual name at all, except around my parents) So yeah, I totally sympathize with you. Maybe your brother will get better in time. (My brother has since matured and become very pro gay rights, though he's still an a** about it sometimes. Oh, and the title of "you ******** homophobe" has now been passed on to my friends sister )

yeah, i hear those remarks all the time from my classmates... maybe because so far the gay people they've seen are the cross-dressing kind that speak like fags and talk about bedding hunks (pardon my language... i have no other way of putting it xp ). and when i spoke up in defense, they were shocked that i support gay people.
a lot of people are assholes.

I think I know what you feel, since I'm a lesbian and my brothers kept on remarking about it. Even though they are not sure that I am. I also hate the term "f** or ...your gay" it's just wrong to make fun of people like us. Also, I am very proud of what I am and also proud that I'm sort of different in a way. I just hate homophobes in all..esp. my classmates who kept calling me a lesbian even they are not sure. Since I only hang-out with girls does that really make me a lesbian? No, but it so happens I am a lesbian. Then, if they always hang-out with guys does that make 'em gay? That's just my point, but oh well?

Just last night we had a big family party. I dont know how it started, but the conversation turned to homosexuals. They dont know I'm gay becasue I know my parents would disown me...they outright told me. I found out just how much my family hates gays. They were going on and on and on about how they hate gay people.

I know how you feel, one of my best friends says it all the time. She knows I'm bi and everything but she cant relaly help it, its been hard wired into her from all of the people she goes to school with.
At school though when people say it around me I go all pro-gay on them, and all they do is whisper amoung themselfs and look at me funny while laughing. stare its not right I tell ya

o__O People can be so rude and offensive. It hasn't been that bad for me. Although my friends are like.."don't hit on me and I'll be fine with it" That annoys me. I didn't hit on you before so why now.

I didn't hit on you before so why now. Ugh, I hate when my friends do things like that stressed They're all open-mined and don't care that I'm bi, but sometimes they feel the need to clarify things. Like we always say things along the lines of "I love you" when we say goodbye, but more and more often they've been feeling the need to add "I mean, like, as a friend", on the end of it. C'mon, I know they're straight, so how else would I thing they meant it? *growl*

I know the feeling peoples, as I'm sure most of us do unfortunately. My dad's a major homophobe and as such I'm afraid to bring one of my friends over because he's gay. (Well that and I have four cats and my friends allergic blaugh ) But he also has hte policy of disownment if he ever finds out that any of his kids are homosexual, which it seems my older younger sister is. So I have a bit of a new question. Does anyone know how I can help my sis out? (She's only 10 and isn't really aware of the major hatred in the world xp )
