This topic is mostly for me to write out some ideas I've been playing with. I'd love some help filling in any holes I've missed. But mostly this is a "speculative" idea about the origin of Eureka and Anemone.

This topic will change regularly as I am still working out all the details. If you see blank spots or info that seems out of place, please let me know and I’d love ideas that support anything included here.

Theory 1: Project Eureka and Project Anemone were two names given to a line of research that has been underway ever since Eureka was discovered.

Theory 2: Joy Division used the research collected under Project Eureka as bases for Project Anemone.

Theory 3: "Project Eureka" and the "Project Archetype Zero" began as two completely separate things.

Theory 4: Adrock Thurston was the project manager for Project Archetype Zero (later termed Type Zero) Adrock’s research and design team was headed by an engineer named Morita.

Theory 5: updated: After the disapearance of Adrock Thurston Dewey Novak was the project manager for Project Eureka. Dewey's research team was headed by a geneticist named Decard Novak

Theory 6: [disproven]Adrock Thurston took Eureka from Dewey Novak. Adrock was only able to do this under the condition that genetic material from her would continue to be made available for further study.

Theory 7: Decard Novak was a powerful man who was the leader of the Novak Foundation. This foundation held the true power of the Novak family. With military support, continued research of Coralian and Human genetics was allowed in the city of Warusawa. This research group was known as Joy Division.

Theory 2: Joy Division used the research collected under Project Eureka as bases for Project Anemone.

Theory 4: Adrock Thurston was the project manager for Project Archetype Zero (later termed Type Zero) Adrock’s research and design team was headed by an engineer named Morita.

This is the team sent by Tresor to the dig site where Archetype Zero was unearthed.

Looks like Adrock Thurston and Morita "the Chief" of Tresor. who would later become the lead Engineer on the Archetype project.

I beleive Adrock Thurston was more than just an engineer involved on the project. By project manager I mean that he was the benefactor that helped keep the project alive and moving forward. It was the Project Leader Morita that handled day to day activities in the labs. That is why he is still the laboratory chief to the present day of the show.

Theory 6: Adrock Thurston took Eureka from Dewey Novak. Adrock was only able to do this under the condition that genetic material from her would continue to be made available for further study.

this theory seems to have been disproven by new information. see second page for details
While the treatment of Eureka would have improved and she would be able to interact with the mechanics, engineers and design specialists of Project Archetype, there would still need to be a source of genetic material for experimentation in Project Anemone.

I base this primarily on the amount of time that is inferred to have passed since Holland left the SOF with Eureka. It is stated that 10 years had passed since the "War" that destroyed Warusawa (summer of love). Add to this the amount of time it took for LFO's to go into production and become available for SOF teams. There would have to have been a stock pile or steady stream of DNA samples from Eureka for the present day scientist to still be doing gene therapy on subjects.

A daily or biweekly DNA sample being sent to Warusawa by Misha would not have been that difficult or unusual a request from Dewey. Misha would have continued this up until the point she defected with Holland and became Gekkostate.

The following is a transcript of the Historic Film made at the time of Nirvash's creation. It is the only documentation of those times. Again this is an actual transcript from episode 30.

Though we are unsure of just how old these strange human-shaped aliens are. Thanks to the great scientists of Tresor we've learned a great deal about them.
[In the "Archetype Laboratory" it was learned that] if we give an electric shock to each nerve, we are able to recognize what sort of movement it controls. Through the hard work of the engineers using this electrical stimulation, we were able to form conjectures as to what their controls were. By creating links to the nervous systems and giving them human form, we were able to get them to imitate human movement. But we couldn't maintain practical movement and the operation was stalled.
But when Eureka, the girl that had been discovered along side these alien creatures... tried to work with them, everything clicked, as you can see. She was even able to alter them into car-like shapes.
It was the goal of Tresors scientists to push their abilities to the maximum. They understood that trapar generated energy, and in order to make use of that energy, they duplicated the technique of reffing, a popular sport at the time.
The production of a giant board to support the alien... was a challenging problem for the scientists.
The alien was named the Nirvash, and it became the prototype for the LFO's that would later be produced.
