I mostly play computer games. There just aren't enough good games for the consoles for me to invest much time in them. Traditionally, people who like stupid mainstream games (any sports game, Halo2, anything with nearly naked, big-boobed girls) don't play computer games, and the PC gaming industry doesn't have to cater to them because of that. They can release good games that will satisfy the real computer geeks, although I do admit they sometimes mess that up as well. I'm starting to lose faith in Blizzard since they seem to be ignoring all of their games that aren't called "World of Warcraft," and I wouldn't mind seeing a new Starcraft or Diablo game. confused It seems like they're starting to sell out and rake in the cash. Oh well. Now I put all of my hope and expectations into Valve's capable hands. They give computer game companies an alternative to finding a publisher for their games because big name publishers often buy the game from them entirely, change it around a lot, and turn it into crap. Valve lets game companies (even small ones) put their games onto the Steam program, and you can buy and download games right from that. Valve did it to get away from publishers, and they never try to control the game makers who want to use Steam. It's a good thing too because some of the most creative and innovative games are found on Steam. Ragdoll Kung Fu for one. sweatdrop

I do!

I like the Baldur's Gate series. I have some other games, but I haven't played htem yet. Just not enough time!

I haven't gotten into online games because a) I don't have the money and b) I'm online enough as it is!

I play very few computer games. One of my favorites is Arcanum.

Not all online games cost money. Only MMO's do because you're paying for the ability to use the game's servers each month. Games like FPS's (Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, shooting games) and RTS's (Starcraft, Warcraft 3, Age of Empires) don't require money to play, you just have to buy the game first. Dungeon Siege is a hack-n-slash which doesn't require you to pay for Internet gaming, and Guild Wars is the same way, except it's a better game. whee

Also, Baldur's Gate rules!! biggrin

I agree with you when it comes to Blizzard. I really wanted to play Starcraft: Ghost but I heard it was dropped. gonk It was bad enough that it wasn't even going to be for the PC. WoW has almost ruined WC3 for me. I love that game to death. Me and my dad play it regularly. 3nodding

Ragdoll Kungfu looked like a riot. My brother was playing it a while ago. It made me go wtf and xd at the same time, lol.

I watched my boyfriend play the demo. When you get to the part where you gather mushrooms and catch butterflies, I was convinced the creators were abusing some kind of substance when they made it. whee

I like WC3 as well, and Starcraft especially. Zerg ftw! biggrin Blizzard has said that they haven't forgotten about all of their other games, but they have shown no proof of that yet. Ghost was canceled, which sucks because it looked pretty cool. sad Stupid Blizzard...I played a free week-long demo of WoW, and I barely played even 3 days of it. It didn't hook me at all. I don't see what's so awesome about it. confused

Alright! A Starcraft fan! Terran all the way! A dozen battlecrusiers kicks everyone's a**. surprised

So true! They had to be doing drugs, or a least really drunk when they made Ragdoll Kungfu.

I play one PC game, though I used to play two. Guild Wars. Guild Wars is so cool! Even if some people think it's stupid because you can only reach up to level 20, but then you can get skill points each time you level up after 20. I used to play Dungeon Seige but then I had lost the discs for it, so I couldn't play. I found them again, but the graphics are better in GW so I kinda gave that one up.
