So I saw this new Gold Button that links to ways you can make gold and informs you when you make gold, how much, and for what. I got 32 gold for my first post of the day (yay!), then 8 gold for voting in a poll, then 1 gold after that, even if I wait my usual (or more) amount of time! If we can't make 10g per poll if we're patient, there's no point in the poll guilds anymore! neutral Maybe it's temporary while they fix things? Or maybe they meant to do it.

i just got 14 gold for that poll...now to go and see what the next one does....honestly i hope that they dont take the 10g per poll away...cause that is about the only way to earn a bit of gold confused

The gold notification thing was a nice little idea... but it is getting a little annoying.... I guess cause it's new and stands out. rolleyes If we leave it there it might end up being as unnoticeable as the main site image. But the good thing is that in the announcement they noted that you can "turn off" gold notification in your profile settings. I'm -assuming- that it means strictly notification and not earning. Which would be kinda stupid for them to have the option to turn off gold earning... I don't think they're "that" dumb. stare But yeah... you can turn off gold notification in your profile preferences if it's too bothersome up there 3nodding
As for the polls... they've been fluctuating for me... the first poll I got 14g... second, 9... third, 6... then 7, 8, 9... and I stopped looking after that rofl

I got 14g for that poll, but was getting 0g for polls and postings on another account a couple minutes ago. If we can't get 10g for at least being pollwhores, I don't have a CLUE how anyone is going to make gold on this site... Of course, it seems they *want* the polling guilds to disappear - between the link colors not changing and now this?!! rolleyes Grrrrr....
