Oh yay! It seems like sequels are coming out! Well, I don't know about Saw 3 buuuut...yeah. I watched Saw 2 with my friend, and I couldn't stop screaming. I didn't get a decent sleep for 5 weeks afterwards! gonk I haven't seen the Grudge, but I've gotten mixed reviews of the movie from my friends. Some said the Grudge was really scary, and others said it sucked. Whatever, go ahead and speak people!

I LOVE SAW. And since Saw 2 was also good. I'm expecting Saw 3 to also be very creative... and I never saw Grudge. =P x)

The Grudge was okay. I don't really remember much of it though.

I didn't like the grudge, its just one more "been there done that" kind of thing... I feel like all the jap remakes are the same!!! theres always the ghostly kid, the mother figure, the abscence problem and such... anyways... i get bored with those.

as for saw 3, well, i think they are pushing their luck, after the 2nd one... will still watch it for the kick of it though

I just hope Saw 3 doesn't become one of those movies where they totally bring shame to the rest of the collection...

*Eyes at the Childs Play Collection*... why did they have to make a Bride for Chucky damn it! AND a son. ALONG with Jenifer Tilly in the story. mad

I think the Ring was also an original. You know. The Japanese version? After the Ring came out, America made a remake of the version. So that's not really a bad thing. Cause the story is the same. Yes?

But I don't know. Ring 2 sounded weird so I didn't watch it. I might change my mind though. wink

Yeah...the Grudge didn't really seem all that original. The whole "black haired girl in a white gown" was in that, which is also in the Ring. And the whole "evil little child" is in this other movie about something going on in the water...blah, I forget what it's called. It's not "Lady in the Water" though.

nah you probably just didnt see those movies, thats ok

Yeah, I saw the american version first ( i didnt know it was a remake at the time)
and i rather liked the movie *well my boyfriend at the time came out of the movie theather with bruises on his arm because i was a bit stressed out and clenched a bit too hard sweatdrop *
anyways, afterwards, the whole fad started being too much, everybody wanted their own little piece of the cake, and it became too much. All the remakes since then (by the way, arent they tired of making remakes all the time???) have included the same elements.

Agreed! It got totally overdone way too quick.

=D

And I know right? So many things actually copied the remake version of the Ring after it was made. And got overdone.

But you know wat copied the story the Ring story the MOST?

FEAR.COM <--- THAT WAS SUCH A STUPID MOVIE.

Everything. Was off of the ring. It's just like the Ring in fact. Only. The difference is that you watch a site instead. And THEN you die after 7 days.

-.-"

Haha. I forget which movie I was watching, it was one of those scary-ish remakes anyhow, and in the middle of the movie this baby started crying hysterically and everyone was like " eek is that in the movie?" and started looking around like "omg! confused "
One thing I don't get is why people take their baby to a scary movie. Or any movie at all, unless they're actually old enough to realize they're watching a movie. lol
