And everything was actually looking familiar again, as Zoma trotted her way through the littered bones of the graveyard. Cobalt eyes glancing around every so often just to make sure she was actually where she was hoping to be.
The dark female had gone out like the good scout she was, gotten distracted and then also lost and then hungry ... and the lost again until finally finding a nearly dying rabbit to call her lunch to then manage to find her way again back to the center of the Hyena's territory in the heart of the Graveyard.
Oh, today actually seemed to be going well, though she really had nothing to report on her trip - besides getting lost again, which BossLady probably wasn't going to be pleased about.... if Mafa after found the other female. How long had it been since she had seen the others.
.... oh well.
It was still turning out to be a decent day so far that Zoma couldn't help but chuckle to herself.

(( Do you have a picture? XB ))
Anga turned to the direction she had came. There was no doubt she was lost, but she didn't seem to mind since she wasn't really headed in a certain direction anyways. All she wanted to do was find a mate and not get eaten. She preened herself with her paw, and the continued the way she was headed.
I've seen that bone before. Am I going in circles?
Anga felt completely exposed in the graveyard. Perhaps this wasn't the best idea. She saw a hyena up ahead, and figured she could ask for directions if she got the right vibe. She continued toward the target, staying slightly to the left.

[ oh, yesyes. no special tag yet for her though: Zomapicture of Anga? O: ] Was that... Zoma halted, dark eyes pivoted slightly behind her. She flicked her mane to the side, still staying put for a few more moments before she twisted her long neck, head obviously following with her kill's limp limbs flopping about, around to see what could possible be behind her.
"Mm!" Zoma exclaimed, pretty much forgetting her mouth was preoccupied carring food as she attempted to express her surprise and glee over another hyena in sight. Another friend perhaps, or maybe another pack-mate? - she hadn't met all of them after all. From the looks of the other one, she wasn't really sure... or of the motives she might have with the way she was staying some ways away.
The female scout couldn't help but tilt her head to the left curiously, eyes following the odd behavior before making any moves herself.

(( Same here: Anga )) As Anga neared the hyena, her senses filled with smell of meat. It hadn't been that long since she had eaten, but she knew it might be long until she was able to eat again. She wasn't about to steal or fight for it, so she bit her tongue and began to speak. "Say... you from around here?" she caught herself drueling, whilst observing the carcass.

Oh, happiness! The other female made the first move. Zoma finally completed her twist around, allowing her neck to not be such an uncomfortable position any longer than needed and nodded excitedly to the other's question - which.. caused more dead!rabbit flopping.
"Mm..." Oh! She began at first until now remembering the hare, laughing nerviously the dark hyena placed the carcass upon the ground at her feet and continued her happy greeting.
"Yup!" Especially now that she knew where here exactly was, "Are you lost? Boy, do I know that feeling! I'm always finding myself lost around here ~ everything just looks exactly the same." Zoma rambled, cobalt eyes a little bigger than before.
"I'm Zoma, by the way... and yourself?"

"Anga. And yeah, I'm lost." she paused, looking once again at the rabbit and back up at the hyena. Is this thing dumb? she thought, wondering if she could just take the rabbit and run. "But I guess you aren't best hyena to ask if you are always lost yourself - in more ways than one..." she muttered off wondering what to do next.
"Where did you find that thing?" Anga inquired, looking at the dead carcass that lay life-less on the ground.
She swallowed before the druel could reach the outside of her mouth.

Zoma couldn't help her face from scruntching up in confusion over Anga's comment. Huh? What did she mean by the more ways than one comment? "Actually, from here I know the area pretty well," She began, more slowly and cautious from her previous excited rambles. "But some areas can be like giant mazes and look the same..." okay, like all the places but she didn't want to push the comments that could be brought out from this, "bones and all..."
wait....
Was the other female eyeing her rabbit?
GASP! HORROR!
Keeping eye contact, the Scout manuevered her left paw, letting it hover for a few moments above and then to the side before placing it protectivly infront of her lunch.
"Around, somewhere back there... a bit." Zoma motioned with her head, actually not sure; but not about to say anything, "Sometimes you just get lucky around here, not like there's a watering hole or some place for things to feed. This is a Graveyard after all... things just wander in ~" Her gaze remained, sizing the other up. She could so take her if she tried anything. So could. Yeah, pretty sure... probably.

Anga just watched the hyena move slowly. She seemed to be doing this a lot lately. What... did she give off an offensive vibe? She didn't get it. She just wanted to get out of here, and possibly get some fast food on the way. That thing had more meat on it than her last meal. She didn't really care if the other hyena starved; she didn't like her anyways. If she was lucky, maybe she'd find her body in a few days and feed herself for days to come.
And besides. She was hungry... a little.
Anga looked away from the meat for a second, and twisted her neck to direction the other hyena had pointed. Only a few seconds later did she have her teeth around the rabbit and began to pull and run. Run, run, run.
Perhaps stealing was not beneath her.

It all happened so quickly, so fast, that Zoma was honestly left with a dumbfounded look upon her face as her long fluffy white main waved in the wind slightly. huhwha? What just happened? THAT didn't just happen did it?
Oh no, she didn't. She did NOT just steal her lunch.
It wasn't often that Zoma got upset or downright mad, she was usually too overly cheerful that it was nausiating to others and even herself. And was often more than happy and willing to share her food; in the idea to make friends and spread the happy vibe. But oh no, not this time. Stealing was just not cool, especially for someone who had pretty much insulted the female scout. Zoma couldn't help as her cobalt eyes narrowed in anger, her head flipping around with body following quickly in momentum as she broke out after the other female.
She might get lost, but at least she knew the other didn't know where the heck she was going in the first place. ahaaa ~

Flop, flop, flop. Anga sprinted as fast as she could just picking any direction that would lead her away from where she was. She hadn't needed to run in a long time, and she felt like she was running through molasses. It also didn't help that she couldn't see every two seconds as her eyes were covered by the dead hare.
She wasn't fast enough, and the other hyena was getting close. If she couldn't beat her speed, she'd have to use her wit.
At the next left and right split, Anga made a very sudden U-turn.

Zoma huffed slightly, eyes still narrowed as she continues her pursuit of Anga ahead of her. The dark female was seeming to be coming up fast upon her, which brought a smirk upon her features as she veered a bit to the right in order to try some trick.
... that was until Anga pulled her u-turn move and blazed past the female once again making the scout skid to a stop, kicking up dust, dirt and small bones. Zoma coughed and sneezed to clear her airways, head already turned behind her while watching Anga's slowly retreating form.
"noooo!" Zoma whined, picking hersef back up and continuing. Oh, now she was going to have to try something herself. Her eyes glanced around her, taking in the area... trying to see if she knew where she was. Kind of. Maybe, she thought she did. There might be a turn that the dark hyena could cut the other off at coming up.
A few more glances and Zoma ducked to the right into a large litter of bones, bounding up and over in hopes of cutting the evil food stealer off.

Anga failed to hear the patter of feet behind her. She looked back quickly, but couldn't see anything on account to the flopping, dead rabbit. She slowed down, and looked back again. Her pace lessened to a trot as she realized she wasn't being followed.
She couldn't hear a sound as she came to a stop and saw nothing.

"hng~" Was the only sound Zoma could find right to express as she attempted to squeeze herself between two ribs that had set far too close than they should have. So not working with the need to get ahead of Anga! Finally through, the female realized only a few bones seperated her from the path and sprung up quickly to make up the time that had been lost.
She huffed as she landed, finding she has decently overshot the whole thing - as her intent was to hopefully tackle the other one or get close enough to it - but she had jumped out somewhat blindly and was a few feet infront of the other. Turning her head, in hopes that Anga didn't catch her surprised look... she narrowed her eyes again and bared her teeth. "Mine! Give it back!"

Anga took a quick glance at the other hyena, and then made way for the giant pile of bones just beside her. It'd be hard to be chased in there, and assuming she didn't get stuck, Anga was sure to be fine. She made her way dodging protruding bones and ran deeper into the pile. As she turned a corner she darted across the left and ran across the spine of an ex-elephant.

Zoma's eyes widened and she huffed in utter surprise, "NO!" That ... evilevilmean hyena! Oh, she was definitly not going on the friend's list in her head, as she pursued the evil food stealer. Luckly Zome had just come out of where Anga now was dashing through, so it could be used to her advantage. Though, instead of taking the direct path and totally following, the female lept towards the nearby vertebre of the deceased elephant and followed the direction where Anga was hopfully headed towards.
A bird's eye view, she'd take the high road and perhaps try the same tactic as before - landing closer or even tackling to get her food back. [though, the back of her head was questioning her, as well as her stomach, why she still kept going. Could always go get more food. But, that wasn't the point! The other side of her rationalized, it was the principle of the thing. You just didn't steal food without reprocution...]
