-The little white and gold cub padded her way slowly away from the den, listening to the sounds of her siblings slowly dissapear. She was tired truthfully, and the sun was awfully hot today.
Glancing around for some sort of shade she finally spotted a little spot of darkness settled alongside a small rock. Padding over into the cool and slightly less bright shade, she settled her little body on the ground, head coming to rest on her paws.-

Zuri blinked as she scampered along following the sounds of others. It'd be a while since she'd seen day light much less anything else besides her father and brother. She paused when she saw a white pelt shimmer as a little sun crept from the shade tree.
She moved over towards the cub. "Hello?" She said tilting her head as she came closer.

-Xu yawned widely, her little mouth seeming to open many times it's size, before she gazed at the golden cub that'd wandered up.
Rubbing her cheek against her own paw with a hint of a giggle, she offered a soft greeting, tail flicking back and forth.- "Hiiiiie."
-She'd not played with any cubs except her family yet, and she stare expectantly at the other girl. She wondered how many kids were around. And where this gold one came from. She was so bright, like the sun even!-

Zuri's tail flickered as she watched the white cub's mouth widen, she looked at it with a tilted head. "You could fit a warthog in that..." She said sort of bluntly with a big grin, "You could fit a a merkat in my daddy's mouth."
She sat down looking at the plet of the other before asking, "What's you're name, and why are you laying here when you could be playing?" Her head tilted quickly to the opposite side.

-Xu blinked abruptly at the statement. A warthog!? Certainly her mouth wasn't that big. Was it?
Well at the very least she was awake now, ears flicking forward as she giggled.- "Oh no! That's almost big enough to eat cubs. He wouldn't do that though?"
"Xu Wu Hui, but you can call me Xu if you like." -Tail flicking gently, she cocked her head to mirror the actions of the golden cub.- "I'm just resting because I'm tired, I was up playing alllllll night."
"What about you?"

Zuri giggled at her, "Nooo, I don't think he would. I mean after all that's cannibalism. And in most places that's not smiled over." She nodded all wise like.
"All night!? I can't even stay up past nightfall, I couldn't imange playing all night long." She looked slightly amazed that a cub could stay awake that long.
"Nice ta meet you Xu. My name is Auriuzuri. But you can call me Zuri." She grined again her tail flickering.

-And her wise words were taken with a soft nod, filtering the information into the back of her mind. She was glad really, she certainly didn't want to be gobbled up some day! She was soooo tiny.. good thing Mommy and Daddy were big for protecting her.
Grinning wide at the amazement she purred a little, a noise she hadn't quite mastered yet, but it was a pleased rumble none the less.- "I stay up almost every night! But then sometimes I nap in the daytime. My brothers and sisters usually sleep in the night though too, so I have to play quiet."
-Giggling a little more, she stood, stepping forward in the sort of affectionate greeting her family had always done, just butting her head into the golden cub's shoulder.- "Hi Zuri!"

The "bald" cub grined as she giggled, "Well maybe I'll have to sleep in one day and try to play with you one night?" Her tail flickered as she thought, "Do you want to do something now maybe we can look at the clouds and see if we see any shapes in them."
When head butted in her shoulder softly she chuckled and returned the soft but, "Hi yourself!" ^-^

((She gets her 'bald' spot from her daddy. XD Have you seen him yet? ))
-Eyeing the sun-like pelt of the other cub, she pondered over the offer, inwardly thinking that, just as she was one with the night, her pelt matching the stars. The sun cub was one with the day.
But maybe she could stay up one night? Xu sometimes stayed up most the day. Well besides the times when the others said she slept. She didn't remember those.- "That's be neat! Does your daddy let you play out at night?"
"And sure, we can play cloud watching!" -That was an easy enough game to play when you were tired.-

There was a pause in the grin that cub held to think. "I'm not sure... Never tried, but we can find out!" She said with a nod. Her tail flickering. "Later on of crouse I'm not quite sure where he is at the time being."
She rowled happily at the agreement to watch the clouds. "Maybe we can find one that looks like two lion cubs!" She chuckled and looked around, "Now where to watch them at?"

"Heeee... Maybeeeee" -Xu glanced at their surroundings gently, trying to spot a good place to watch from.-
"Do you want to lay? Or sit?" -There was the shade in the distance.. but she had a feeling she'd fall asleep there.. not to mention the leaves blocking the view. Maybe they could watch from atop the little rock she'd been resting by.
Hopping up she glanced around her, calling down to Zuri lightly.- "Which way do you live Zuri?"

She murred thinking, "Well we could do either. Which ever is best for you. Seeing as you look like you want a nap." Her tail flickered as she moved over beside Xu and hoping onto the rock as well.
"Which way do I live?" She looked around for a moment getting her bareings a pointed off towards her den. "Over there. I'm not sure how far it is from here really..."

-She looked gently in the direction of Zuri's pointing, nodding as she filed the information. Which wasn't hard considering this was the first non family member she'd met! And when the question sounded she craned her head lightly, back towards the gigantic rocks in the distance.- "My family and I live in one of the dens near the bottom of pride rock! I have a big family, so it feels a little crowded sometimes. Lots of brothers and sisters, do you too?"
-Spotting another stone on the savanneh a little bit away she motioned towards it lightly.- "That one looks flatter, it'll be nicer to rest on while we watch. Sometimes when you slide off of rocks you get hurt." -She nodded sagely, wisdom she'd learned from uncautious rock hopping back near the den.-

"My family is rather small, my brother and father and myself is all that's there. And I don't know my mother." She said with a frown. Looking towards the great rock. "Wow, you live at pride rock. That's so cool." Her tail flickered happily.
Nodding softly she smiled, "Okay that sounds like a good place to watch clouds from." She grined, she'd never really what you say rock hoped because there weren't that many around.

"A small family is neat though! More attention from dad. But that's sad about your mom..." -She didn't know why one wouldn't have their mommy. But.. it was probably better not to ask.
Hopping off of the rock, she began to trot her way over to the other rock, peeking to make sure the golden cub stayed close behind.- "There are lots of lions that live at the rocks. And the king and queen live up at the top. Mom says they're gold like the sun. That's kind of like you!"
"That's pretty neat 'cause I'm like the stars. That what my name means. White star."
