it's hard to choose between Ban or Makubex both have bad history. Midou Ban because of the curse has killed some of his friends while Makubex doesn't know a single thing about his true identity.

for me it's Midou Ban who have the most sad past, just look he killed many clost friends (Yamato, Miroku 7) and even his parents labeled his as "demon" because of his Jagan eye. and now everyone like to kill Ban because of his past.

I'm going for Ban, I think his past is the most dramatic among all. His own mother despised him and claimed that he is not her son but instead a Devil's son; which is a terrible thing to say to such a young child. Isn't that what made Ban closed his heart from strangers for good? Though it was relieving that Maria was there to be his guardian.
And he killed a number of his close friends as well, like Himiko's older brother. I doubt killing close friends are one of the enjoyable things to do for Ban Midou.

I agree, but how about Kazuki and Shido their clan was is now gone and all was killed that's also so sad.

I would have to say Akabane. You never find out about his past, but its got to be pretty disturbing to make him the way he is. *shivers*

I say Ginji, cause even though Ban had to kill Yamato he was asked to for the greater good, but Ginji is forced to turn into the Ligtning Emporer and kill the people he wants to protect. He's abandoned in Munegnjou and then the guys from the mid floors start killing off his closest friends and then he finally becomes the lightning emporer and starts killing people.
Then of course after all this he finds Ban thinks he'll finally be happy and Akabane shows up...*sigh*...alls well that ends...well never mind.

how about Shido and Kazuki? both of them have a tragic past. Their clan was all killed including there family members and friends and now both of them are always thinking about avenging their clans. sad isn't it?

I would have to say Ban. Because not only he was forced to kill his best friend but his parents abandoned him as a baby, calling him a demons child and stuff like that. Also the evil eye is pretty much a curse where bad stuff is suppose to happen to you all of your life.
Also in a way Akabane too, cause you dont even know or want to know what happend in his life. O-o;;

I honestly don't know who I would pick here to have the most tradgic/disturbing past... =
I say that they all have an equally sad past. Some just more than others, but I do think that Ginji has a pretty sad past because of all his friends dying until he was pretty much forced to become Lightening Lord.... Then again I would also say that Kazuki, Emishi, and Shido's pasts are sad too.

hmmm.... *inserts sarcasm here* how about heaven? with her enormous chest, idk how she walked when she was a little kid... immagine, living your whole childhood weighed down to the floor, never able to stand until you grew strong enough to stand up and sustain them...
hah hah, but really, i think ginji has a pretty cruel past... along with kazuki... the fire scene was pretty dramatic... good ol jubei cheered him up though, which makes his past less depressing than ginjis... ginji lost all of his friends... but yeah...

Himiko Kudo, she had a terrible past starting from the time when she was born and when she was a child.
