the best thing about a trumpet is you can shoot really big spit wads with it. I don't know what else you can do with it. I heard of some Louie Armstrong guy who played it or some dumb thing like that.

trumpet is a great blues jazz instrument man ive played for 4 years and love it man. Its so easy to switch to guitar if uve played a wind isttrument.

Yeah I've been playing Sax for 6 years, so it's taking alot for me to switch from the sax thing to the trumpet thing. Its definately one of the more difficult things ive tried to do.

Well I've been wanting to learn the trumpet for a while now, but more as a passing "oh yeah maybe one day", and not a "omg i need to find one now!". Well, the other week I saw an ad in the classifieds for a couple trumpets, one for $50 and the other for $75. They were apparently in perfect working order, but one was a little more tarnished and had a shittier case. Well, the next week they were there again, so i decided to go for one. Next thing i know i have a trumpet biggrin . I couldn't pass up the deal!

Also, on the subject of great deals: I'm going to be buying my best friend's sister's Behringer V=tone guitar for $25 (!!!!!!!!) I nearly s**t my pants when she told me i could have it for that price. It plays WONDERFULLY, especially for 25 smackers. I can't believe my luck on this one. . . especially since I love strat knockoffs. . .
Now i just need to get $25 sad All my money's shot. . .

But my goal is an unreal mass amount of musical instruments! It defeats the purpose if i start selling s**t!!! But really, it is my goal to have an unreal number of instruments, guitar or otherwise. I mean, I've got 3 electric guitars (another soon, obviously), 3 acoustic guitars that would actually play if i strung them up (two that are worthless, but have sentimental value), an alto sax, a trumpet, an ocarina, A harmonica, a kazoo, and a partridge in a pear tree (okay so maybe not a partridge in a pear tree. . . ). Needless to say I have a while to go before i reach my goal of "unreal amount". I cant just start selling them!
