Mbali had left Bari for a while to go wandering a bit, sort things out in his head. He was, in a way missing his mother and family and Mbaya especially.
He was laying on a rock letting the sun bathe his pelt. His mane had grown a bit and he was growing a mane like his fathers. He had his eyes closed, his breathing normal but his mind was racing, thinking of the past, the future, of Bari, of here, of home, of Bari and Bari and even more of Bari and it was driving him mad. What was she doing? How is she? What did she think of him? Question after question ran through his head but he didnt move, he let his mind torture him for a little longer.

It had been a few days since the little 'incident' between Mbali's aunt person and the small cub intrusion into the Kusini lands. "Stupid rogues." The female muttered pathetically, exiting from the abandoned den, making her way off. Where was the prideland boy anyways? She scoffed slightly, moving slowly to where the white lion would most likely be.
Even though Bari didn't know the lands truely, she had been here before, so bits and pieces registered where she was. Spotting the sunbathing male, the female smirked. "You know, you can't get a free ride in these lands." The mocha female said, rolling her eyes but in a joking manner.

His questions were banished by a voice which then started a whole new stream of questions but he shook them away by shaking his head and then looked up. "Bari..." He didn't sound very awake and spoke rather soft.
He sat up and turned to look at her properly, "Something wrong?" He shook his mane from his eyes and licked at his paws while watching her. She was such a beautiful lioness...wait.. what was he thinking? She hated him!

At Mbali's tone, Bari's ears flicked. "What?" She rolled her eyes when she spoke. He was acting weird. His voice wasn't the same, and he even looked strange! Was his mane growing? She snorted slightly. "Nope, everything is just fine." She said, manuevering her body somewhat. "Why are YOU just lounging around though. You should be working." SHe nodded firmly. To Bari, these were her lands, meaning she didn't have to do anything.
Wow, just from her reaction, the female looked to be one that didn't like anyone~!

Mbali just looked at her. "Neither of your grandparents have told me to do anything adn as your technically a pridelander, I don't need to do anything till I am told by them." He stretched a little and curled back up. It was better to not look at her when she was like this.
Why would anyone like a girl like her anyway? He had one stupid head or heart, one wasn't agreeing with the other anyway!

Bari scoffed. "Hmmph. Well it's my family are the rulers here, so I get to tell you what to do!" The female smirked, sitting on her haunches. Yes, Bari was a brat to others, regardless on who she was talking too "Or...I can always get my grandfather to tell you what to do," She shrugged her shoulders.
Without waiting for an answer, the mocha juvenille smirked. "Perfect!" She grinned. "I'm hungry!"

Mbali just ignored her.
"If your hungry go gete food. Your not my king or queen so whether they are your family or not, your not them." He made sure to look away from her, those eyes of hers were just entrancing!
He let his blue eyes just wander in any direction that wasn't looking at the bratty yet beautiful lioness.

Bari scolded Mbali. "But I'm innnnjured." Or...she was injured. The female grumbled, turning away from the white male. "Fine. Don't help me." She sneered, glaring at the tree in front of her in a pout. "Stupid lion not wanting to help." She muttered under her breath, acting just like a kid. "Fine, whatever I catch I'm NOT sharing with you!" Her eyes gazed back towards him. "And if I get hurt it'll be on your conscious." Perhaps that would nab him.

He turned to watch her leave,
"Bari, its not my fault if you can't hunt and are stupid enough to get crushed!" He chuckled and licked at his paw. Of course he would follow her, leaving her on her own would be letting her commit suicide.

Haha wouldn't it just be great when Bari his adolescence? Raging hormones ALL over the place. And don't forget those moodswings! The female gazed over her shoulder, watching the male just lay there. Grr BOYS! She huffed, not realizing that she was to be followed.
She looked forward, the scent of zebras roaming heavily in the air. The female shook her head. No zebras for her...Perhaps a little rabbit?

Bari meets adolescent would most likely kill Mbali in more then one way!
He did get up and slowly follow her as she went hunting. He refused to hunt for her as he refused to be her slave, that and she needed the exercise!
Oh how she was beautiful!!

The mocha female sighed after a few minutes. She hadn't known the lands well enough to find the rabbit dens. Grumbling to herself, her teal blues eyes gazed around. She then plopped on the ground with a huff. And she was hungry too! Why was she saw small she couldn't hunt! Or why hadn't Mbali helped her! Curling her paws under her body, she grumbled a sigh again. "Stupid pridelander." no rogue this time?

Mbali wasn't stupid and he knew Bari's lacking hunting skills so, following his heart he headed towards the place that he knew would find the bossy thing some food.
He headed towards her, his mane half covering his face, blood covering his front paws and maw and in his maw happened to be a limp rabbit which he took straight to Bari and dropped over her head.
"Eat up missy."

The mocha female blinked, eyes widening slightly at the rabbit that laid dead in front of her. Her eyes narrowed, as they always were, towards the bloodstained Mbali. "It's yours." She said, staring at the rabbit. She wanted it...but it was the adolescence kill. Moving to get up, she sat before the chocolate mixed pelt.

"Don't be stupid! Eat up." He smiled and turned to walk several meters away, he knew she would eat it if he went far enough away. She was hungry and proud but which was more important? Hunger or her pride?
He chuckled in his head as he dreamed of how things could be if she ever grew up.
