Issaria crept away from Dawn's First Light as fast as her paws could carry her. She didn't much care for her father's Pride, and realised it more and more each day. The lions in it were, nice enough, she suppossed. But something about it just felt, off. The pale princess gave a shrug and slipped from the Pride's Lands, and even borders, not hesitating. By now, she had been sneaking away for ages, and knew her best bet was to tread along the rocks until they reached the river, where she could leap into the water and not leave any tracks. By following the river she washed away the scent of her passing, and effectively made it impossible for her parents to track her, were they ever aware she dissappeared beyond the Pride Borders. Far free of such worries, she pranced through twilight painted emerald fields and wondered where her friends were at this hour. Aritania would probably be out tomorrow, though likely as not she was with her family tonight.. And L.U. would not meet until then.. "So I am on my own." She murmured in a lilting voice. "Well enough than!"

Afu lay in the grass, sleeping when he sat up, aware that someone was passing nearby. He poked his head over the grass and looked around. Another lion. A female. And she had the same flakes as him. He felt a sort of... invisible connection with the fem. What was it?
He didn't bother to call out to her like he had the other girl. He walked right up to her, a debonair smile on his face. "Afu." He said giving his name.

So set on getting away from the Pride Lands, she nearly stumbled at a sudden feeling Issa had felt a strange tug, and turned her head, wondering where it had come from. She spied the dark male and gave her radiant smile, bowing her head slightly. "Issaria." She replied sweetly. "Pleasure to meet you Afu.." She idly wondered why he was out so late, and where his Pride was. They obviously weren't as protective as her own family, or perhaps he too had snuck out!

He inclined his head momentarily, mimicking her. "You as well." He looked her over, noticing that she too had the winged feet he was so often teased about.
"Why out so late? Shouldn't you be with your parents?" He shouldn't talk, he was out as well, and his mother and brother and father were far from here.

She grinned and gave a shrug. "My mother and father are still at the Dawn's First Light Pride, and my siblings.. I snuck out." The Princess took great pride in this, for her siblings rarely did such a thing anymore, and she was just finding her stride. The Pride Lands were lovely at night, and she loved exploring them. "And what of you, Afu? Why are you wandering about so late?"

His story was not half as amusing as hers. He had snuck out... sort of. "I'm..." He hesitated, "Out on a walk. Or that's what I told my mother. We've just met up with my father at his pride..." He said as he looked down at his paws. "Lucky again." He mumbled under his breath. It seemed to happen everytime he did something spontanious. He always had something good happen to him.

"Oh? Who's your father?" She queried. Being a Princess sometimes had benefits, although the overprotective parents weren't one of them.. However, being part of L.U. meant she knew Princes and Princesses all over the Pride Lands and most of the Royals around the area. Whether by name or reputation, or actual experience she could remember who was allied with who, their personality, and sometimes their family.

He puffed out his chest, proud of who his father was. "Adrastos, of Cerulean Waves." He grinned. "My mother is Shairi..." He wasn't sure if he should say that she ran away from her own father's pride... seeing as he wasn't supposed to know that. He had over heard his parents talking, Shairi had told Adrastos that she wasn't even sure if her father knew she left... and that sooner or later she wanted to go back and make things right.

Issa pranced about for a moment. "I know him! He recently allied with Talcorin, King of Rose Wings. Talcorin's Pride is home to one of my dear friends Lilac Wish, and she told me all about it!" She seemed to wilt. "Shairi?" The Princess mused. "Isn't she the sister to the Dark Prince known as Jayvyn? He who rules as second King to Scarlet Shadows? I have friends there too.. "

"Uh..." Afu faultered. Was she? He really didn't know. "Perhaps..." It wasn't like he knew for sure... "You seem to have alot of friends..." His thoughts came out aloud. "Its no surprise. You're very sweet."

Issa giggled and blushed. "Why thank you Prince Afu, you flatter me." She batted at the grass. "But.. I suppose yes.. We all get together at night and explore.. Usually we have to sneak out of our Prides, so its all very exciting.." The Princess gave a shrug. "Of course.. That's what makes it all the more fun!"

Afu tried to hide his embarassment. First, that wasn't supposed to be out loud. And second... Prince? Him? He had never been called that before. "Sneaking out is routine for you?" He asked, a little surprised. She seemed so innocent... apparently not.

She gave him a look of elegant angelic surprise. The very look said: Who? Me? Sneak out? Never!
She giggled and gave a little shrug. "Its the only way I can go see my friends, so.. Yes.. I sneak away from the Pride from time to time just to get away from there.. But mainly, its to meet up with Sunny and Lilac, Ini and everyone else."

"Huh. I never would have pegged you as the type to do that... and here I thought I was the only one... of course... I didn't really sneak out... I told them I was going out... just not where... if they knew I was this far from the pride..." He didn't want to know what would happen. "You seem far too innocent to disobey..." Afu mused aloud, casting a sidelong glance at her as he walked.
