 *The male wolf padded along the dry earth slowly in search of food. His body was scorching due to the color of his fur and the suns powerful over cast. Today would have been better if the lion that he followed had not left him behind for some female. Snorting he stopped and stood beside a large tree; keeping himself cool within its shadow.*[sorry it's a short opening XD]

 Escaping the heat of the day wasn't easy when one' color was dark. The rays of the sun always seemed to search for that black back. Zo had luckily found a tree that provided shade to ease the heat that surrounded her. And obviously, she wasn't the only one to seek the cool fo the shade, for she wass joined by another on the other side of the tree's shade. She had been sleeping away the heat when he ears perked at the sound of the other Wolf. She looked up to see him in the shade as well. "Hello." She said simply.

*At first Yazid said nothing to the female- feeling no need to even acknowledge her existence he simply looked off into the distance with dull grin. But as time passed he felt himself cave in and slowly he moved to gaze at her. She was not hard on the eyes- he could give her that much. Sighing deeply the oddly colored wolf sat down and spoke, his tone dull.*
"...Hello."

Zo watched as the male seemed to ignore her, but not for long. She nodded back to him and returned to her nap. He didn't seem all that intrested in a conversation by the tone of his voice, so she might as well sleep a bit more. But, now she couldn't sleep. She sighed and sat up again.
"Do you know where the Ocean is?" Zo asked to make conversation.

“The ocean?”
*He questioned her; his yellow orbs wide. Yazid had never seen any kind of large body of water before- so he didn’t really understand what she was talking about. By the looks of it he was young still, young and stubborn. With perked ears he sat himself, facing her.*
“Why ask? Are you looking to go to the ocean?”

"Heh. Yes, I actualy am. I just don't know where it is, so I am asking everyone I meet if they know." She said, realising her didn't know where it was either.
"My innervoice keeps pointing my thoughts to the ocean, and so I want to go..." She explained.

“That's odd.”
*The male nodded slowly to himself. He didn’t quote understand her reasons, but then again he was not one to judge. Cocking his head to the side Yazid spoke again.*
“I guess if you needed company I could help you find this ocean?”

"That is very nice of you to offer." Zo replyed, nodding with a small smile. " But I don't even know your name yet." She let out a giggle and stretched out her front legs.
"I am Zo Jah'Meka, wanderer. What would your name be?"

“I am called Yazid.”
*The young male spoke with a swift nod. His violet and blue laces paws pushed forward as he held himself up with pride. The marking upon his chest pushed together and made a clash of against his black based coat. He was not like other wolves- he knew that much. Yazid was yazid- nothing more.. nothing less. Stilling upward he eyed her slightly, as if studying her actions to better understand her.*

"I am pleased to meet you Yazid." She answered with a curt nod.
Zo also studied him. What a strange marking on his chest. She had never seen one like it in her travles. Then again, she hadn't met many others in her travels, only the occasional wanderer or group. It still was quite different then her simple coat.
"And where do you come from, Yazid?"

“I come from the shadows. I am a hunter of the night.”
*The wolf spoke freely; his tail batted from side to side as he did this. His yellow eyes laced along the female before him as he sat still. She seemed to be looking him over as well. With a soft sigh he looked around, before adding,”
“Zo Jah- what do you know of this ocean? I mean if you know you have to go there- what is it that makes you want to go?”

"The night..." She sounded, repeating the male. "Hmm, to each his own, then."
She smiled at the shortened name she recieved from Yazid. Zo wasn't to sure where the 'n' came from, but she didn't mind. Swaying her tail slightly, she thought about his question.
"Well," she started, "You see, its calling me. I'm not a seer or anything, but I still have an inervoice. Its telling me my future is on the road and at the ocean."

“But why follow it? Why not go against it?”
*He questioned and stood himself up. His yellow eyes narrowed along her form as she spoke. Yazid listened to her carefully before slowly padding around her, circling the female. Every step he took was lined with grace and balance, Yazid may have been young but he was strong and had spent a lot of time perfecting his silent stalk. Stopping the male stood in front of her again and awaited her reply.*

Zo did not flinch or shift as the male circled her. She let her ears folow his movements as she stared peacefuly at the ground where he had been. Wether this was for intimidation, or just to show off, she didn't mind. When he replaced himself she spoke.
"Why stick to the beaten path when you could make your own?" She countered. "The same reason I folow where my own paws lead, because there is power in believing in ones thoughts and dreams. Mine happen to leade me to the ocean."
She was silent for a moment, then added with soft thoughtfulness. "Is that so wrong. . . different. . ?"

*He nodded slowly before sitting beside her. He didn’t understand what had just happened- but he didn’t mind talking to her- and that was odd. Yazid didn’t care for females too much… but she seemed alright. Maybe he could make nice and have another friend on his side? With a snort he laughed.*
“I mean look at me, I am pretty damn different.”
