One of my closest friends, who is one of the most respectful and kind people I have ever met has basically only one flaw...and that is that he is extremely hostile whenever the subject of Christianity comes up. He belives we are all bigoted, sexist, and try to force our religion on others. His mother was brought up in the southern Bible Belt and she has fostered some very negative feelings toward the religion, which she has passed on to her son, my friend.
I'm very shy, so what I need is a prayer for courage...so that the next time one of these remarks is made, I will not be afraid to speak my mind and defend my beliefs (and hopefully even be able to witness a bit).
Any help will be greatly appreciated. =)

You must stand firm and be brave!
But don't think you'll be alone because God is always with you. He has given me courage when I needed it the most, and he will surely give you courage now.
