Kimi stood in the plains, breathing deeply. Her mother had been glued to her side ever since she came out of her basket. It was about time that Kimi got some time to herself. She wasn't the kind of Soquili who sits around waitng for something to happen. Kimi was much more active than that. She felt that she needed to explore and have fun. She wanted to meet other people. Randee had warned her that the world is a dangerous place, but Kimi can handle it.
Can't she?

Rahu snorted as he started to walk into the plains. he lately had ran into another foal named Mocha who was engergetic and some how got him to play just like Selene had we he had me her. flicking his tail, he hardly minded Selene or Mocha though Selene is an adult. snorting again, he actualy did not want to run into any more foals as he wa sick of being annoyed, or soft around them.

Kimi spotted a dark reddish brown stallion walked into the plains. Finally, Kimi will have the chance to meet a new Soquili. Kimi dashed towards the Soquili cheerfully.
"Hello," said Kimi, circling around the Soquili. "I am Kimi."

Rahu stopped where he was with a snorted as Kimi dashed up to him and circed him. " hi and should you not be with your parents Kimi?" he watched her carefully as he hardly wanted to have another foal attached to him or think of him as a brother or father figure like Mocha or Selene though he did not mind those two. flicking his tail he stood there calmly and contiuned to watch Kimi.

Kimi rolled her eyes at the mention of her parents.
"My parents? Oh, please, I finally am away from them, the last thing I want to do right now is return," said Kimi. "If you had any idea what my mother is like, you wouldn't blame me for getting away for a bit. I want to be independent."
Kimi looked at the Soquili.
"Well, aren't you going to introduce yourself?" Kimi asked this with a hint of sarcasm and rudeness, although it wasn't exactly intentional, she just didn't know better.

Rahu snorted at Kimi. " that may be Kimi but foals do not wander off on there own unless they want to get hurt. as to introducing myself im Rahu. and do take my warning in watching how you speak to me or anyone as you dont know what one might do." with a bit of a cold tone, he then tossed his mane with another snort and stood there waitng to see what Kimi might say in responce.

Kimi was young, but she wasn't stupid. However, she was stupidly brave.
"Are you really going to hit a foal?" asked Kimi with a threatening tone. Kimi lifted her head as high as she could, trying to get into Rahu's face. "That wouldn't be the best move, Rahu."
Kimi stood up boldy, trying to be intimidating, even though she was only a young foal talking to a powerful stallion.

Rahu laughed. " do you really think you can intimidate me in anyway? i wont hit a foal but i will show one its place." he then got his face in front of her's and looked her in the eyes with his dark red eyes. " you got guts but its stupid to mess with a full grown stallion who can rib you apart with out hessitation. so it would be best if you learn quickly your place." giving a light snort, he then lefted his head back up but still kept his eyes on her.

Kimi relaxed, knowing that she was no longer at risk of any physical danger.
"Just because I am young doesn't mean I'm lower than you," said Kimi, looking up at Rahu with a wink. "Yet, you are right. It probably wasn't the best to even try intimidating a stallion like yourself. I just don't like being treated poorly or like an infant. I can take care of myself you know."

Rahu snorted. " show me other wise and you wont be treated like a little foal. though you need to watch how you talk to those older than you are. its called respect your elders and as for taking care of yourself, i highly doubt you can take care of yourself like an adult could take care of themself." he flicked his tail with a little amument but still was a bit annoyied. wanting to stretch his legs a bit, he walked towards wher ehe knew water was. " follow if you want." was all he said as he walked off.

Kimi thought for a moment. Perhaps Rahu was right, but Kimi was just sick of the way her mother pampered her. Kimi trotted after the stallion.
"Wait up," said Kimi, chasing after him until she was at his side. "Where are you going?"

" stretching my legs as i dont like to stand in one place too long and going to get a drink at the stream. so what makes you want to follow?" he asked out of boredom as they walked towards the stream. flicking his tail if he really thought about it, he has met and been around lot of foals that are now adults who he sometimes run into.

"I haven't really met any other Soquili before besides my family," said Kimi, rolling her eyes again. "My mother, Randee, is so over protective of me. It's probably because of that secret of hers. That's why I'm even named Kimi. My name means secret. It's because I'm hiding my mom's secret from my dad, Unesdala. My mother broke a pot, and I saw."
Kimi stopped, realizing she said too much.
"But you have to promise not to tell anyone I told you that," said Kimi, looking at Rahu with the corner of her eye.
"Please," she added politely.

Rahu gave a nod. " theres no reason for me to tell such a silly secret but fine i wont tell. and thats why you get your mother to take you out and about even if she being over protective." flickign his tail, they finaly reached the water. stopping at the edge of the water, he took a drink.

Kimi tilted her head at the stallion.
"You're not the type of Soquili that lets himself let loose and have fun are you?" asked Kimi. "Not to be offensive or anything. You just seem so...uptight."
Kimi dipped her flaming hoof in the water, letting the flames sizzle and crackle. She then kicked some water, splashing some towards Rahu.
