*Licking the dark fur out of his eyes back Kujack sat still. He had been cleaning his fur all morning along- while also keeping an eye on Ger- who played beside the water hole. He stopped once he had completely covered every inch of his body... Jack still loved to keep clean- that was one thing that would never change. Looking around the male sighed and spoke to himself.*
“I hope Aysha shows up today..”
*Jack had been seeing more and more of the strange lioness and it had become something that he had just gotten use to- like having Ger in his life. Looking back over at the cub Jack smirked and called out.*
“Don’t you fall into the water now- I will not clean you!”

Ger huffed, "What does he take me for, an idiot?" he whispered, just outside the leopard's audio range. He rolled his eyes and pawed at the water, splashing his reflection away. It always seemed to bother him when he looked at it. Just as he gets up the dirt crumbled and he fell in, just as Kujack had thought.
SPLASH
Ger rested there, his nose on the surface with an aggitated and embarrassed expression. That is if you could see it. "Idiot..."
Ger hopped out of the water, shaking a few loose drops from his few between each step before reaching the leopard's side. "Dad~" he whined. "I'm wet...."

Aysha pondered over little and random things as she padded along. She'd been hanging around that leopard more and more recently it seemed. He intrigued her in a way, and she stuck around out of curiousity and perhaps something else? No, there was nothing else, she told herself, shaking her head and glancing around. There couldn't be anything else.
As she continued along, her rounded ears picked up some voices not too far away. Stopping for a moment, she lifted her head and glanced to both sides. To her left was a two familiar figures. She got the chills for a second, and she wondered why. Yet then she forgot about it and soon moved on, changing her course and heading instead in Jack and Ger's direction. The lioness reached the pair just in time to see Ger fall in.
"That can't be comfortable," she commented quietly, watching as Ger went over to his 'dad' and explained that he was all wet. Aysha certainly never liked water in her fur.
Shaking her head, she glanced over at Jack. "I'm not interrupting anything, I hope?"

“Ger! I told you not to do that!”
*Kujack frowned and batted Ger upside the head in a playful manner. Turning to his side Jack found himself smiling at Aysha- She had showed up after all! With a slight grin Jack spoke.*
“No, not at all Aysha- Ger here just got himself all messy- after I told him not to.”
*Glancing down at Ger jack spoke to him, taunting him slightly.*
“Looks like you will have to clean all of that off eh?”

Ger grumbled, normally Kujack would do it, he was much better than he was. Ger padded a little ways and started to clean himself to the extent of his abilities.
It was nice to see Aysha and Kujack together, perhaps it's just that he was glad to see Kujack happy. Then again, why'd he care? That's right, fatherly figure, and Aysha was just like Kujack before Ger came to him. What was the cub, some kind of life altering alien? Ger shrugged and chuckled, "Dense." he mutted.
Ger could tell already what was happening between the two. Kujack all nice and smiling when she was around. Aysha, not so pushing-others-away-y anymore. Obvious, the two were close. Ger remained silent as he cleaned himself waiting to see where this encounter would lead to.

Aysha glanced again at Ger when the leopard mentioned that he had gotten himself all messy and wet after he had been told not to. The corners of her mouth lifted in a small smile, her tail flicking thoughtfully as she remembered her own son.
"Cubs will be cubs," was all she said, before she turned to the water and lowered her head to get a refreshing drink. Once her throat was no longer parched, she lifted her head and, licking little droplets from her maw, looked over at Jack. Deep down she knew there was something there, something strange and a little frightening to her. But on the surface... the lioness refused to acknowledge such things.
Blinking, she suddenly felt embarassed. But for what? In an attempt to distract herself, she glanced at Ger and shook her head. "Here, let me help you," she said kindly, moving over towards the little lion and immediately running her tongue over his fur, cleaning it and smoothing it down to the way it was supposed to be. Once she was done, she stepped back and 'examined' her work.
"Yeah, I think that will do it."
Turning back to Jack, Aysha gave a sheepish smile, as if silently saying that she couldn't help herself from grooming Ger. It was a habit she had picked up after becoming a mother.
"So... you and Ger doing alright?" she asked, really having nothing else in mind.

*Never before had Jack EVER felt any kind of jealousy toward Ger… until now. Aysha was cleaning him! With his jaw hung open like an idiot Jack frowned and looked away. He envied Ger right now- having Aysha’s attention. Narrowing his glance to the side Jack turned back to them once she was done and with a puffed-out chest, to make himself look strong he spoke.*
“We are doing fine. Just relaxing right now... care to join us?”
*He offered and let all the air out of his lungs. He wanted badly to impress Aysha- Ger had it SO easy being a cute cub and all. Jack hated it.*

Ger looked over his body. It was just as it was before he fell in. Quickly he passed his paw over his head and felt that oh so familiar feeling, yup cowlick still up. She may be able to groom him but she couldn't get that thing down like Kujack and Jahazara could. Slowly the lion cub padded over to his "Dad" and settled himself down.
"Stick around." he chimed, smiling. Ger was going to play along with this and get out of it if something were to go....further. Actaully, Ger was sort of looking forward to have something happen between the two. He had his reasons. Flicking his tail, he could feel it hit up against the leopard's side. As usual, Ger turned back to fix his fur that he messed up.

Aysha blinked then looked down at the water when the two males had asked her to join them and to stick around. Even though she had been hanging around with Jack a lot lately and getting used to his company, she still couldn't seem to figure out why they wanted her around. Was it just a male thing that she didn't understand? Something in the back of her mind told her differently, but she ignored it.
"Oh, sure, I guess I could stick around," she finally said, looking away from the water and over towards Jack and the little cub Ger. It wasn't like she had anything better to do or anywhere else to go, nor anyone other than them to see.
Feeling awkward just standing there, the lioness then sank down to her belly, her tail curling around her body. Her front paws splayed out in front of her, but she brought one in towards her chest so that she could groom it. In between licks, she through out a random question:
"You two eaten yet?"

*With a deep sigh Jack pulled Ger a bit closer and with one good lick across the head his cowlick was down. Smirking he lifted a paw and rubbed in the place that he had licked- messing up Ger’s tiny mane again. Kujack and Ger had odd ways of showing they cared. Fixing his fur once more the leopard stopped and eyed Aysha.*
“Food? Not today no. We both kind of just woke up.”

Ger pawed at his head, he asked Kujack not to mess with it since it was pointless. Even if he put it down, it would come back if mess with or the next day so it was pointless. He shrugged and padded over to Aysha.
"Nope, just woke up." he purred as he curled up beside her, looking back the leopard. The Pride Lander yawned again. Kujack had to wake him up this morning and he's still a little groggy. "You hungry?" the cub asked, purring softly.

Aysha nodding at the two, as if telling them that she understood that they had just woken up and hadn't eaten yet.
"Well, I have a kill not too far from here. If we move quickly enough, perhaps there won't be any scavengers there yet or anyone else." She nodded again, as if this needed confirming. Yes, she had hunted earlier this morning and had brought down a rather small gazelle. Even after she had eaten her fill there was plenty of meat left on the body. She figured that they might be interested. If not, that was fine.
"I'm not forcing you or anything," she whispered quietly, her ears folding back. She knew that she didn't come off as forceful, but she was just.. paranoid?
"I'm just saying.."

*Jack felt slightly torn. If had said yes to her offer he would seem needy- and he didn’t want to seem needy- but if he said no then she might take it the wrong way. Eyeing over at Ger Kujack looked him, as if waiting for the answer.*
“I am a bit on the hungry side… and I am sure Ger is too.”
*He nodded slowly... still feeling odd about intruding on her meal.*

"Yeah." Ger chimed. He could see Kujack conflict with himself, noticed when he looked at him before answering with a hesitant reply. The lion got up and padded over to the leopard's side and purred softly. Truthfully, Ger was absolutely starving! If he only drank water he'd become bloated and well.....stuff happens when you drink too much.
Ger smiled up at the lioness, his paws laced and his tail wrapped around his paws. "Ladies first, Aysha." he spoke.

Aysha smiled sheepishly at the two males. She was glad that nothing terrible had happened or anything, but she had seen that Jack was hesitant and seemed to fight with himself. Had that been her fault? Having no way of really knowing, she simply tried to put it out of her mind and move on.
"Right.. it's this way," she said quietly, turning away from the water and going back in the direction she had come from. "It's not too far."
