Hi, i am new here in the finnish guild. my reasons why is im gonna learn finnish! i got alot of relatives in finland and my grandmother came from finland ^^ so i thougth it would be great practice for me to join this guild! but for the moment i dont understand a thing... maybe some words but, still sweatdrop
Well, i maybe should mention that im from sweden too ^^

biggrin If you have/get any questions - about the guild, or anything about Finland or Finnish language - I'm sure the people here will be happy to help you out.
Please, check out the English Discussion thread. (though I haven't updated it in ages... sweatdrop nothing worth mentioning has happened here lately.) And the guild rules in English can be found in the top anouncement.

Heya, and welcome to the Finnish guild. It's great that you're going to try to learn finnish...Languages are always fun!

So, if you're from Sweden, do you talk Swedish? I mean, there are quite a few people here who maybe should learn Swedish better for school and might be able to chat with that language. *shrug*
Just thought about how, maybe, we could teach you Finnish and you could teach us better Swedish. blaugh I mean, I know I've forgotten nearly everything that I have learned in school about Swedish. =_=;

...I should be able to speak swedish, yet I never seem to know how. You have no more swedish in school and the minute it stops, you forget it all... atleast I did... sweatdrop gonk

I used to listen sw3edish well, when I worked in office where most people spoke it. But nowadays I don't have to use it in anyway...

well, sure i can learn some people swedish but then we need to make a "swedish" topic or just turn this one to it 3nodding but, it one problem. gaia dont allow all of the characters in our alphabeth.. you maybe have had that difficulty too?
