It was another cool mid-afternoon day, deep within the luscious foliage of the woods. Many critters stirred around this time of the day, lurking up the trunks of trees and even behind the small plants and bushes that lay on the forest floor. One could even hear the gentle splashing of a waterfall nearby, and even the delightful chirping of birds. Yes, many of the animals were active all around the forest, the hawks circling above and the deer prancing about.

A small egg rested amongst the trees. It was a very rare female Tigre and it would hatch out of it's egg very soon. The wind rustled through and the poor egg rocked back and forth on it's limmy bed. It slowly fell downwars, toward the wholesome earth. It was all well, as if it hatched, being in a tree would not be good for a little cub. A slight stir could be seen inside. Who knew what would hatch? One could only wonder. Time would show all.

Onyx-blue masculine laid leisurely amongst the forest floor, his piercing yellow optics gazing up upon the many many clouds that could just barely been seen above. Dominic arose, paws swiftly moving through the foliage, the rushing sound of the waterfall getting louder and louder. He walked over to the stream and lowered his head to the ground, lapping up water.

A green shadow stirred in the trees, a tail lazily hanging from a branch. Amethest eyes sparkled in the shady tree tops, alert and watching for anyone who might come along.

Dominic laid upon the forest floor, lazily staring up at the clouds. He heard a rustle in the leaves, and quickly looked up to see a green tail hanging from the brances a few feet away. "Yes..hello there?" he said, voice somewhat deep and smooth. A limp strand of hair fell in front of his eyes, and he brushed it back with a shake of his mane.

mikahla Dominic laid upon the forest floor, lazily staring up at the clouds. Tink glanced down at the sound of the deep voice and found it to be a handsome, deep blue, male Tigre with markings around his eyes. "Oh, please forgive me. Am I bothering you?" She smiled at him.

"Oh, no.." He looked up to the green tigre with lighter spots. "My name is Dominic, might I ask of yours?" He reclined upon his haunches, sitting on the ground. Dominic then folded his blue wings behind his back.

"Dominic. It suits you." Gracfully, she leapt down from her perch in the tree, almost gliding and landing lightly. "I'm Tink. Pixie name, I think..." she laughed, her laughter like the jingling of bells. "My mother was a friend of a pixie colony. And she said I looked just like I had pixie lights patterned on my coat." she glanced at it. "You're the first I've met here, actually. It's been quite lonely traveling alne. Pleasure to meet you." She smiled at him sweetly again.

"Ah, Tink. Pleasure." he grinned lightly. "Yes, I was born on a Sunday. Pretty appropriate to be named Dominic." He rose on all fours, tail waving around slowly. "You're the first tigre I've met here as well." He laughed a little, tree leaves rustling in the breeze.

Tink liked his laughter. It was kind and pleasant. "Really? I wonder how alone we are. I thought I was the only one. Well, at least now I know I'm not." She folded her featherd wings and tossed a lock of her hair away from her amethst eyes. "What do you like to do?

He chuckled, saying, "Yes, but I do have a feeling more tigres are in the woods somewhere.." Dominic shrugged slightly and looked sideways. "Well..I found a cave a while ago. I jus' go in there and lounge, I guess. Would you like to go?"

"Sounds cozy. Alright. I've never been in a cave before..." She stood and yawned. "Which way?"

An orangy-yellow light hit Dominic, and soon he noticed that the sun was setting. "Oh, let's hurry. The sun's setting and it's a lot cooler to be in a cave in the dark.." He laughed. " Let's get there before sundown. Follow me." He walked a little ways north and looked over his shoulder at Tink, then continuing to walk--almost run west.

A soft colored Tigre was napping under the foliage of the trees, the rays of sun filtering through the leaves warming her.
She awoke and noticed that it was becoming late. Rising, Asha stretched her limbs and went off to find a safe place for the coming night.
And as she moved from her resting place, her nose caught the scent of other Tigre. They had passed nearby not that long ago...
