Ok, so I wanna know: just how many times has the Doctor been slapped? I figure most people remember Jackie Tyler slapping the Ninth Doctor. But I need to know if there are many more people who have felt the need to slap the Doctor!
It's important so please, next time you spot the Doctor getting slapped, by anyone, please post it here.
(Many thanks to katybutterfly for putting these in such wonderful order!)
So far I've got:
First Doctor - No recorded slaps.
Second Doctor - Jamie slapped by Zoe in The Mind Robber (broadcast 14/9/68 - 12/10/68 ).
The Doctor slapped by a Sontaran in The Two Doctors (16/2/85 - 2/3/85).
Third Doctor - No recorded slaps.
Fourth Doctor - The Doctor slapped by Graff Vynda-K in The Ribos Operation (2/9/78 - 23/9/78 ). The Doctor retaliated.
The Doctor shoved through a doorway by strong man Herman in The City Of Death (29/9/79 - 20/10/79). The following lines were: ''What a wonderful butler he's so violent!''.
Fifth Doctor - No recorded slaps.
Sixth Doctor - (Surprisingly) No recorded slaps (although The Two Doctors - see Second Doctor - is during his era...).
Seventh Doctor - The Doctor judo thrown by Mel in Time and The Rani (7/9/87 - 28/9/87).
Eighth Doctor - The Doctor slapped by Grace in the film (25/6/96)
Ninth Doctor - The Doctor slapped by Jackie in Aliens Of London (16/4/05). Slap preceded by the words "Stitch this, mate!"
Tenth Doctor - The Doctor knocked out by Cassandra in Rose's body with perfume in New Earth (8/4/06). Knock out preceded by Cassandra's line "Wake up and smell the perfume".
The Doctor knocked out by one of Bishop's heavies in The Idiot's Lantern (27/5/06). Punch preceded by the Doctor's line "Hold on a minute! There are three brilliant, important and complicated reasons why you should listen to me. One -"
The Doctor knocked out by The Wire in The Idiot's Lantern. Collapse preceded by the Wire's line "He's armed. And clever! Withdraw! Withdraw!"
The Doctor slapped by Donna in The Runaway Bride (twice!) (25/12/06). Firstly with the preceding line "Maybe a genetic..." then secondly with "You're like a pressure cooker, a microwave, all boiling up and shazam!!" followed by "What did I do this time?!".
I need more! I'd also like to know about anyone else slapped in Doctor Who. Especially by companions.
(NOTE: I will accept other forms of violence - if entertaining)

Oh har har har! stare No I had one that I'd changed from a kissing applet to a shooting applet... and the give Harry Potter warts applet... I might try and find them again. I suppose I could make a slap-the-doctor applet out of them but it wouldn't be like whack-a mole because he wouldn't disappear or move around at all. Not so much fun. And you wouldn't be able to get any points for it.

Eirwyn I thought they punched him, not slapped him. Does that count? Well... yes. I think I will. But I'll change it to punch... Takuha Mel did some kind of karate move on the seventh doctor aftyer his regeneration because she didn't realise it was him, does that count? Yes, I think I'll extend slapping to any kind of (reasonably humourous/entertaining) violence. Though - I'm not sure here - but did she ACTUALLY hit him or just try to? I do kinda need actual hits.

Aww. Poor McGann. I quite liked him.
Anyway, he's already been slapped. And kicked in the stomach. And brain fried...

I don't think I'd like to slap any of them. I don't like hitting people because I'm scrawny and hitting people hurts my hand.
