Venus is the 2nd planet from our sun. It's atmosphere is so thick that much sunlight that hits the planet bounces off the atmosphere, making it one of the brightest objects in our sky! The sun's light and heat that does make it through the atmosphere gets caught under it, making the planet very hot!
