Yes they are both from video games.
Link...from the Legend of Zelda. Equipped with bow and arrows, bombs, sword and shield, boomerang, and skills galore.
Samus...from Metroid. Equipped with a blaster, armoring, and other goodies beyond my knowledge.
My vote is Samus cuz women are usually more supreme. She'll use her wits against him hands down.
