Let me point this out ahead of time to any n00bs who think this card is horrible. Here's a few words as to why it isn't.
It
Isn't
Restricted
That's all you have to know
Even if you only managed to get 2 in your hand on turn 1 who the ******** cares? You play BOTH OF THEM suspend them. and on turn 4 all of the sudden you have six ******** extra mana. OF ANY COLOR.

Split Second (As long as this spell is on the stack players can't play spells or activated abilities that aren't mana abilities)

Fu*king crazy good. If you think this card is bad, you really need to quit magic all together. Like I said, Time Spiral is going to be almost as broken as the Uraz Block and Mirr. Block.

I mean, come one! It has the word lotus in its name! Almost every card ever made with the word lotus in its name has been banned!

Tel-Jilad Squirrel Yeah, this card is good...too good... Who wants to place bets that is is going to be banned? I mean, come one! It has the word lotus in its name! Almost every card ever made with the word lotus in its name has been banned! There are only a few cards with Lotus in the name Black Lotus Lotus Petal Lotus Vale Lotus Gardian and now this Of 4 so far only 2 have been banned in formats (when they were in extended and black is still banned in legacy for obvious reasons but petal isnt) With the suspend ability it won't be very good outside of standard I don't think. It might (count the word might) be good in Ext and Legacy but that's about it. It's not powerful enough for Vintage play. It could end up banned if Time Spiral chucks out a way to abuse the hell out of it (something ridiculous to spend that extra 3-12 mana on turn 4) we'll have to wait and see.

Well, that is 50% of all cards with Lotus in their name, not counting the new one. That is still most ^_^
But you do have a good point. I am just saying that I am sure that some Johnny, somewhere will learn how to abuse this card...and then we will be in trouble.
Oh, and I would like to say something about Split Second. The mechanic is cool, but I must say that Split Second has to be one of the worst names for an ability EVER!

Most likely in vintage this card my get restricted just because there are so many ways to get around the suspend abl.

Split Second sounds pretty much amazing.
I agree, this card will be everywhere in standard, and will likely dominate any sealed/draft play.
The art is pretty nice too.
