In the very center of the city of Tir Alain is the massive central plaza. The floor of the plaza is a beautiful stone design showing the history of the city. In the center of the plaza is a large fountain with bright teal colored water. Throughout the plaza are benches to sit on and enjoy your surroundings. There are several trees growing out of small patches of dirt which are scattered about the plaza to provide some shade. There are also gardens There are several areas where venders have laid out mats and offer their wares to anyone who passes them. Surrounding the main plaza are several stores selling any range of different things. There are a few restaurants with outdoor seating and open windows, letting the smell of their foods waft out and catch a hungry citizen. There is almost always talking, whether it is between venders, friends or enemies. Welcome, to the central Plaza.

Senstren sits at one of the benches and watches the fountain, completely lost in thought. He had just recently become a citizen of the city, and was not used to such large buildings, or so much noise. In his wandering days, he had normally stopped at smaller cities, where a single bar was the main attraction. Here, everything one could think of was all around him. He had enough money to last a little while, but he would need to find work some time. But who needed the help of a wandering Necromancer these days? He sighed and shifted his sitting position.

It was business as usual for Ian. he was sitting down in a shady patch near some benches in the central plaza. He had a little reed basket out and was currently animating a little mechanical snake for the amusement of a few onlookers and children.
the central plaza was a great place to work..... people came here everyday. the vendors were close buy and Ian could purchase anything he really needed from them... usually at discount price as he made friends with many of the nicer vendors. the snake began to slow down.... Ians magic on it was wearing down after the ten minutes he had kept it "alive." the tongue flickered out one last time.... and then the small snake became motionless. Ian bowed politely and a few children threw small coins into the reed basket. A few more curious children came up and began to poke and prod the snake; Ian was used to this and he offered it to them and told them to check and make sure it was not already alive. one biggish boy picked it up and began to sniff it. Ian silently used a small bit to make the snake wiggle back and forth, and the boy dropped it and shrieked a small cry. another boy laughed at him and the boy turned a bright shade of crimson from injured pride.
after the crowd dispersed Ian counted the coins. nearly six Tir Alain Marks. not bad haul.... Ian put his snake away and sat on a bench pocketing his money. He thought that mabe later on he would animate his dragon. that one was bigger, he could only do it for three or four minutes, but it always brought in good business. people loved dragons.
