I dont no if im pregnant ....My boyfriend and i had sex on sunday,its now tuesday.and this morning i had to p really badly and i had a werid tingling feeling down there[still do].My boyfriend and i didnt use protection [which was stupid sweatdrop ],but i dont no if its a sign or not...i hope im not pregnant ,and i was thinking about get on the pilll,[my neighbor is a nurse and i could get some or take a test this weekend when my boyfriend comes up] i dont no! but do you think i might be?or is it just something else? PLEaSE Help!!! gonk
Edit: Can i start taking birth control,will it help?
And Whenever i go p ,its a burning sensation,it kinnda hurts,but not alot What would that be?

xd If you were pregnant, you wouldn't know that soon. Sounds like it could be a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), which you can get from sex, or a yeast infection. And no, taking birth control won't help make it go away. So basically go see a doctor and ask if they can give you something to help the problem go away. If it's a UTI, sometimes they give antibiotics, or else it'll go away on its own. If it's a yeast infection, they might recommend you try a product like Canestan or Monistat. If either one of you has been with other people before with each other, then one of you could be infected with something and not know it. Use condoms as well, because using 2 methods of birth control will reduce your chances of getting pregnant even futher, though there is always still a risk as long as you're having sex.

When in doubt, test. There is no way ANYONE call just tell you that you are pregnant without a test.
Traditionally, antibiotics are the prescibed way to get rid of a UTI, but that requires going to a doctor to figure out what's the best medication. An untreated UTI can lead to a lot of problems, if it's even that.

Try a walk-in clinic, a doctor out of town, etc. Having unprotected sex is dumb - not being able to even go see a doctor is worse, because if you are infected with something, if you have something like a yest infection or a UTI, or you're pregnant, then you can't get the care you need.
If you aren't covered by insurance, get some money together and find a way to go see a doctor or someone at a walk-in clinic.
I once had a month-long UTI because I didn't see a doctor. While it eased over time, it was always annoying. I find drinking lots of orange juice/citrus helps a little, and cranberry juice is supposed to be really good too.

Good luck, I just wanted to add you have to see a doc anyways to get birth control pills. Your nurse friend might be able to easily give you the names and addresses of free/low-cost clinics. Cranberry helps with UTIs, but trust me, antibiotics are the best way to fight them because an untreated UTI can lead to worse problems.

Heh, you're welcome. 3nodding I didn't mean to imply you were dumb either, by the way - just that having unprotected sex without thinking about the consequences (as an act) is dumb. Especially if you already have trouble getting to a doctor, don't have medical insurance, etc. A lot of teenagers don't think before they start fooling around and becoming sexually active, so it's good to see that you'll learn from all this.
Luna is right - you'll have to probably see a doctor/gyno to get a prescription for birth control pills. And some -not all- doctors will do a physical on you (pap smear, pelvic exam, breast exam, etc) before they'll give you the prescription.

Helped me alot,and i will get to a doctor this weekend,or talk,and get antibotics 3nodding I dont want UTI xd Im thinking thats what i have!but still im going to get a test and see Thank you again<33
Now Im not going to get checked out till this weekend,What do i do till then?

Drink lots of citrus juices, or cranberry juice?
I hate cranberry juice and find it to be very bitter, so I usually just drink as much orange juice as I can. But that's just me.

I am actually prone to kidney infections becasue apparantly my son put pressure on a tube and kind of crushed it so it back flows. Also of course people calll it honeymoonsistitus and we may be parents but we are not dead wink Anyways I take cranberry concentrate pills and white grape juice works. Since I started doing that I am about a year infection free.

Thanks<33 i have been drinking cranberry juice and water all week 3nodding And Yesterday i only had minor problems,and Nothing today! 3nodding So im going to keep drinking water,and cranberry juice,anything Thanks for helping me mrgreen
