Kat hummed to herself, having been checked for her medication sh ehad indeed taken it that morning... Today was important, and even if she thought she didn't need it she took it simply so they'd let her in.
And here she was, on the weekend, in her class setting up for a very special appointment. Somewhat excited to get out of the mundane routine of teachgin abcs and 123s and actualyl work on what she had trained for most of her life... Child psychology.
A common problem with one of the children, he was having trouble learnign to speak. And so she was prepared to get to the bottum of it... or atleast start their several week process of therapy. Either would do for her... And thankfully orpheus had finally given in to her encouraging that this was something he should take her up on.

He'd tried leaving it be to see if Ter developed the skill on his own, had tried to get him to repeat words that he said like he'd seen people do with smaller children and only got a glare back, had tried to have Ligeia help him but as their current relationship was tenuous at best the owl didn't want to push it. So where they were, heading to see Kat. She would probably have a better chance at this then he did, he wasn't versed in the mind after all. He was a glorified Gym Teacher.
He stepped into the classroom and looked back, "Come on Terpsichore." He said the the snake child that was hanging back a little bit, looking unsure upon whether or not he really wanted to go into the classroom. Ter wasn't a fool, he knew something was going on and last time it looked like that a crazy woman had stabbed him in the arm with needles. He peeked around the corner of the door, flicking his tongue out.
This place didn't have a medicinal feel to it, didn't make him think doctors and needles so maybe it was slightly better? He slithered inside, sitting back on his coils and looked over at Kat, then flicked his tongue out again, "Hiiiiissu." He told her, arms crossing over his chest. He was of a mind to trust her, she didn't look THAT scary. Then again neither had that blonde woman.
"Ter this is Kat, she is going to be your teacher today." Orpheus explained to his son.
Ter flarred up, eyes going wide. Wait, what? Teacher? Augh! He was being tricked into a class on the weekend! How unfair!

Kat smiled warmly to the two, bending down so she could greet Ter first, holding out her hand for him to shake. "Hello Terpsichore. I'm Kat." If he took her had, then she would move on.. and if he hadn't, then she'd pause long enough to wait a few moments then move on anyways, keeping a smile.
"Good morning Orpheus." she greeted her colleage breifly. "We'll be done in a few hours, at tops 3, depending on how much progress we make." she gave a nod, then turned back to Ter. Orpheus wasn't the focus afterall, he was...
"Alright Terpischore... We're going to have alot of fun together!" she grinend widely, "Afterall, thats what the weekends are for, right?" she turned back to the rest of her room. The bright colors and set up were always focused on children... and in the mniddle of the room there was a single large table laid out with two chairs, with a big stack of boxes ontop of it. "I'd like to start with some drawings, how does that sound?" she migrated towards the table to pick out some crayons and construction paper. Her main idea was to see what he drew without any coaxing. If they were happy pictures, sad pictures, or just simply drawing thigns around him. Whatever it was, it was a perfect starting point... and if anything, most kids loved to draw.

Ter's yellow eyes focused on the hand that was in front of him for a long moment, debating upon what it was exactly that he was supposed to do with it. Then he recalled seeing it before a 'hand shake' if he remembered the name right. He reached out his hands to take her, shaking her rapidly then let go.
Orpheus nodded, "Sounds good." He told her, patting Ter on the head before he headed out of the room to leave them to their work. He wasn't needed so this gave him time to get more classes planned out.
Ter watched his father go before following after Kat, listening to what she was saying. Drawing? He'd not done that before, most he'd done with the crayons was that Letters and Numbers homework that he'd gotten a while back. He looked at them before reaching out to take up the red crayon, looking it over then down at the paper. What did he want to draw? First thing that came to mind was the first thing that was put down on the paper, the symbol for Cobra best he could draw it from the show he was always watching.
After that he scribbled down a few more random things, the dragon egg that he had seen that was his was done all spikey and colored in brown. That made him smile a bit, his tongue flicking out as he thought about the critter in the egg and how much cooler it would be then Ligeia's Vorel.

She was pleased with the fact he shook her hand.. for one, it showed he was up to par with learning things from those around him. Meaning this likely wasn't a learning condition... Secondly, it meant he was polite and even though he hadn't looked happy to be there had respected her greeting.
Kat smiled, settling into her seat. Once she had made sure he was set up she got herself out some bright colors, allowing herself to doodle some things with him. Just simple things, whatever came ot her mind first... Which turned into a image of her dear friend blade and one of the many dragons... Though her art was no better than the 5-year-olds she worked with... She finished at about the same time he did, looking up with a smile. "So what'd you draw? I drew my best friend, Blade." she nodded with a wide grin, pointing to her own scribbles.

Terpsichore seemed interested in the fact that the teacher had drawn with him, it made him smile some. He looked down at her picture for a moment but didn't recognize the person that was in it, the 'Blade' man as she'd called him. He turned his picture and lifted it up to show her his scribbles. He tapped his finger against the wyvern in a pleased sort of way.
His wyvern would be the bestest ever! Cause he said so and that made it true.
The symbol, the Cobra one was his favorite since he was after THE Cobra Commander of D-corp.

Kat studied the picture, noticing the sperate drawings. A cobra of sorts, easy enough... and next. His dragon, atleast she assumed that.. She vaugly knew the kids assigned dragons however there were so many she had trouble remembering.
Either way, there wasn't much from them as to why he was unable to speak... But it did give her a clue as to one of his intrests. "Oh, is that your dragon?" she smiled "I be he's going to be pretty awesome huh? Do you have a name for him yet?"

He looked down at the dragon and then gave a shrug of his shoulders, he'd not decided on what he wanted to name the little one exactly. After all he didn't know if it was a girl or a boy that was inside of the spiny egg. Once he figured that out he would choose a name... a smile spread across his lips as he had an idea for the two choices what he would name the dragon depending on gender.
He patted his hand against the paper, smirking as he looked up at her. He decided in that moment that he liked her since she'd said that his dragon would be awesome. She was totally right after all so he didn't mind liking her.

Kat smiled as she tried to read his nonverbal way of communication. It was easy enough... "Dunno yet huh? Well lets see..." She set her paper aside, pushing her seat back so she could get up and move towards a big toychest on the side of the room. A quick flip of the locks and.. vwala. "Here we are... A wyvern right?" She held up the plushie so he could see. "Here. You can have this one. Would you like to pick out some more toys to play with? I can get my kitty." she offered while looking over her shoulder from her position infront of the toychest. Maybe she could get some of that old fasion play therapy going...

Ter's eyes went huge as he saw the plushy that she held out, that was what a wyvern? That was what they looked like? Well minus the plushy feel and look but... he reached out to take it, looking it over and then gave a hiss of delight, "Red!" He said in delight, the only word he'd ever spoken but it worked here as the plush was that color. It showed that he didn't lack the ability to make words, he just didn't.
What a cool looking beast it was going to be. The tip of his tail twitch in a happy sort of way before he slithered over to look into the chest, wanting to see what else was in there.
He dug around with one hand, the other hugging the wyvern to his chest. Then his eyes widened as he caught sight of something. He picked it up and looked it over. Flicking his tongue out at the other plushy then shook it at Kat, an owl. It didn't look exactly like Ligeia so much as it just reminded him of the other boy.

Her heart jumped a bit as a word left his mouth, however... it fell once more as she realized which word. The one word he spoke. Well atleast he could speak.. and there didn't seem to be too much wrong with his way of pronouncing. So most likely a psychological issue then... Didn't matter for now, things would relveal themselves in time and gentle coaxing.
Her attention was caught by the movement, looking a thte owl. It took but a breif second for her to catch on. "Oh! An owl. Like Ligeia, your brother right?"

He nodded his head, smiling. She knew the owl was Ligeia too! She was so smart! He then dug about in the box again and took out a blue dragon as well before moving back over to her to play with the three, the blue dragon was sat with the owl. It was Vorel, his brothers dragon in his mind. He'd not seen anyone or anything in the box that looked like his father so these ones would suffice for playing with.
He gave a happy hiss then turned to her wanting to see the kitty that she had been talking about. Would she play with him? Like when Vivina had played the instruments with him? That would be fun since he didn't play much, only now and again when he ran across some of the other students. A couple he'd gotten a long with quite well, Vivina and Paxton and a couple others he'd run across and would like to try to get to know more.
It was hard to do that though he thought which was why he often sat in front of the TV to watch GI Joe instead of socializing.

She moved away as he dug, pulling out her own tattered kiki plushie from a higher shelf, tucked out of the way where kids wouldn't take and destroy it. She returned with that, seating herself indian style on the floor, easily getting into the playing mood... She was like a big kid at heart really.
She placed her kitty down infront of the three toys he had chosen, talking in a highpitched voice as she moved the plush to her voice. "Why hello there! I'm miss meow!" her voice tried to drop out from the pitch a thte end, causing her to choke a bit clear her throat then laugh at her own mistake.

Ter's eyes went wide and he set the wyvern plushy down, his tail coiling around it and then clapped his hands excitedly. She did voices for the kitty! He seemed quite pleased and impressed by this, he reached out a scaled hand to shake the plushy's paw as he'd greeted Kat so that he could say hi to 'Miss Meow'.
He then reached over to pick up the wyvern and sat him in front of the kitty, hissing a greeting from the Wyvern to the kitty and made it wave its wing in greeting.

Kat grinned, and wether she forgot she was here for a reason or not was hard to tell as she got enthralled in the playing. Now since he was a boy.. He'd probably like an adventure over playing house.
In her highpitched voice she spoke "Why hello! Its puurrrrfect to meet you both!" Kat manuvered the cat's paw to shake Ter's hand then return the wave to the dragon. "This is Terpsichore." Kat explained to the plush. "Nice to meet you Terpsichore!" The cat repeated. "You and your fine red dragon look like the three purrrrfect friends to help me on my quest!" Kat gave a breif pause before she choked on her high-voice again. "You see, I lost something very important to me! And when I did, i hit my head and forgot what it was!" The kitty moved to slump in despair. "Oh thats awful miss meow!" Kat exclaimed, "Well I'm sure we'll help you, won't we?" she looked up to Ter, trying to give him more simpler yes and no things for the moment.
