Hey. . me again. . i know that l'arc en ciel is old and stuff but they have good music. . . i enjoy the songs drivers high, link, stay away. . there is much more. but can not think of any. . keke. . they became a band a year after i was born!!!
~*~How they became a band~*~
L'Arc en Ciel started in 1991, founded by their leader/bassist Tetsu. The band got its name from a movie that Tetsu watched, and it meant "Arc in the sky", or "Rainbow." It started out with the members Tetsu, Hyde, Pero, and Hiro. In 1991, they had their first live/gig. In 1992, Hiro left the band. Tetsu then called upon his friend Ken, who took Hiro's place. Then, also in 1992, Pero left the band. They needed a drummer so they got Sakura to take role of drummer. Then in 1997, Sakura was arrested for drug posession, and had to quit the band. They then found a new drummer, Yukihiro, former drummer of DIES IN CRIES. In 2003, they all went solo, and Hyde released 2 albums, 666 and Roentgen. Tetsu released Sweet November. Yukihiro started a band called Acid Android. Ken started S.O.A.P ((Sons Of All p***y)). They then got back together in March 2004 and released their album SMILE.

l'arc en ceil was my first Jrock band. thanxs to GTO now i have three of there albums now i used to listen to them all the time now i barely do my favorite song from them is dive to blue from the ark album

Few quick corrections and sidenotes:
- Tetsu is the singer of his solo band TETSU69 (And my inner Hana says that he named it that because he was born in 1969, so get your mind out of the gutter!)
- In 2005 (?) Laruku got together and made AWAKE.
- Hyde has released another solo album called FAITH, which is available in America, so if you go to a music store, they will most likely have it! (And I don't mean Target or some store that also sells music, I mean a music store.)
- Also, Hyde's wife is named Megumi. They met on a talk show after Hyde said that he'd always liked her and that he thought she was pretty. (Available on YouTube. I'm sure if you search "Hyde Megumi funny", you'll find it.)

missgothiclolita i like there older stuff for some odd reason I tend to like their newer stuff solely because I think Hyde sounds better with a deeper voice. I mean, the old music is good, but I just prefer albums like SMILE and AWAKE.
