The lovely iron rought gates ahead rise magnificently against the towering school and sky above it. It rakes the air above like demonic claws, yet the heavy gates swing inward to allow entrance as though effortlessly by magic. The school looks somewhat like a castle, three floors tall, with towers on either side. A beautiful sight, welcomeing and forboding at the same time. The most beautiful part were the tall elegant cherry blossom trees, that happen to be in bloom at this time of year. Their beautiful pink sakura blossoms dance in the breeze, silky pink petals drifting in the perfumey breeze.

Two females stood at the gates to Rakki-Sakura. One was a bit taller, and obviously older, while the other had a red tail comming out from her jeaned mini-skirt, and a pair of red ears on the top of her head. Lindsay Cowan's mother was an average human, it was her father who was a neko. "I'll be fine, don't worry." She said with a reassuring smile to her mother. "You'll be fine, it's the other girls I'm worried about." Her mother muttered under her breath, before watching her daughter walk off. Mrs. Cowan didn't like her daughter's sexuality all too much, and always tried to make Lindsay understand that it was wrong. Sending her to an all-girls school probably wasn't the best choice for that cause, but it was her husband who chose it.
Kinda empty. The female though, eyes looking around the place. It was her first time at a boarding school, and better yet - an all-girls boarding school. She had hoped to find some cute girl to show her to her dorm, but there wasn't anyone there to talk to. She let out a soft sigh, looking down at her strapless pale pink top and her black and pink high heels. She wasn't sure if she was underdressed or over dressed, but she liked it anyway. The term "slut" tended to be used when people looked at her clothing.
She walked further onto the school's property, bags in hand. Maybe I should wait.. She thought, walking up to the school and setting her stuff down, taking a seat, back against the wall. A sigh escaped her glossed lips, her eyelids closing to reveal her pink eyeshadow, as well as some of her eyeliner. So she waited, tail tapping the ground impatiently.

Kasumi Sohma approached her new school on foot. Not because her home was close, but because she and her father had gotten into a fight on the way there, and about halfway he threw her bodily from the car, throwing her bag out the window, and screamed at her that he ******** hated her and to get to school her goddamn self. So, here she was, trudging along towards the school with her head lowered.
Upon rounding the corner, her eyes lifted to look upon the gates which stuck her as oddly demented, she shuddered. Her ears were laying on her shoulders, as they usually tended to. She almost never was excited or confident enough to lift them, to let them stand as bunny ears usually tended to do. So her father always told her she looked like a floppy eared dog, instead of the bunny her mother had been. As the thought of her father, her shoulders tensed slightly and she tugged on her ear, biting her lower lip.
Looking around the school through her lashes, she noticed that she wasn't the first person there, which had been a deeply routed fear of hers. A slutty girl with neko features sat by the door. At the term 'slut' in her mind, she mentally reprimanded herself. She was actually quite pretty. She walked forward slowly, as if dreading walking up to the building. Her short black skirt whirlled slightly about her white thighs, showing pale skin and a small glimpse of her silky panties. If she had noticed this, she might have become overly embarssed and tripped. But she hadn't, so she continued silently.
Wishing she had the courage to speak to the girl, she failed, and stopped short, just standing in the center of the courtyard, her head lowered so that her black hat hid her eyes completely. From her bag, she pulled out her most precious possession. An ugly white plushie, covered in stitchings. She held it to her chest, like a jewel, and breathed deeply. How she hated school...

Lindsay's eyes just scanned the courtyard to her new school. It was quite a nice place. She was used to small public schools where boys ran around tackling each other, making all the grass completely destroyed. Being in an all-girls school had quite a few advantages. More opportunaties for a girlfriend, a neater school, and having a chance to speak up. It seemed boys liked to talk more in class than girls. That was what it was like at her other schools, at least.
The surrounding area seemed quite peaceful and quiet. Empty. The neko felt quite alone, right until a figure reached the gates. The female squinted slightly, making out a girl with what seemed to be bunny ears on her head. She smiled, happy to know that there were others who had animal parts to their body. It was nice to know she could really be her usual self, and not have to hide her true race. Her eyes began to scan her body as the bunny girl began to walk towards her. Very nice.. She thought. The girl was obviously younger than herself, but she didn't exactly mind.
When the female stopped, the smile left Lindsay's face. Why had she stopped? Was it because she was sitting here? Because she was dressed the way she was? Because she was watching her? Her eyes looked over to the ugly little plushie held in her hand. She raised an eyebrow, but then smiled. It was cute and innocent.
She quickly pushed herself to her feet, bringing her bag up to her shoulder again, then walked over to the other. She could tell that she was shy, so she decided to take the initiative and talk to her. "Hey there." She said with a flirtatious smile. "Are you new here?" She asked, setting her hands on her hips. She herself was new too, so she couldn't be the older girl who showed her around. But she could be the friend to explore the school with.

She was surprised at having been spoke to first, but not displeased. She had trouble speaking to others, but found it easier when the other spoke first. She gave the pretty girl a timid smile, violet eyes flicking over the other girl's body. She was slightly talker, with long auburn hair that flowed past her shoulders, and crimson eyes. The most astonishing physical attribute- aside from her curvious legs and breasts which Kasumi was finding oddly distracting at the moment- was probably the presence of her cat ears and tail, both of which Kasumi found oddly comforting. She was like her, in a way.
Partially lifting one ear, she realized exactly how long she had been hesistating on the girl's words. She offered her a timid smile, a hint of thankfulness lingering across her petite features, and replied, "Bonjour. Oui, I'm new." She has a nice smile... "I'm guessing you're new here as well?" she asked, her head tilted slightly giving her turned in knees and slightly bowed head a more childlike appearance. How she hated that.
She wondered vaguely if the flirtatious tone was maybe a far off invitation to something more, but instead cast this thought away for now, only finding the thought somehow depressed her. Clutching the bunny hard, her nails digging in the matted velvet making the eye bulge threatening, as though it would pop off at any given moment. Realizing the threat this small motion gave to her plushie's wellbeing, she loosened her grip slightly.

Lindsay watched as the other female looked over her body. She just kept smiling, awaiting a reply of somesort. She was used to having people stare at her, especially if she had a pair of ears on her head and a tail sticking out of her behind. But the fact that the other had parts of an animal too was relaxing, and didn't make her feel uncomfortable. She actually quite liked the girl's bunny ears. The always thought rabbits were cute. But now one question remained - was she gay?
She had gotten a bit imaptient on why the bunny girl wasn't responding. Was she busy studying her body? Did she not like being talked to? All thoughts of that sort were soon cleared of her mind when she actually spoke. She had heard a bit of French here and there, but never really knew much past "bonjour", "oui" and "non". "That I am." She replied to her question, watching her nails dig into the plushie. She raised an eyebrow, not sure what she had done to cause such torture to be given to the poor bunny toy.
The neko shook her head slightly, the eyebrow lowering itself quickly. She smiled once more, looking over the female slightly with her eyes. "I'm Lindsay Cowan." She said, gently holding out her hand for the other, if she was into that thing. "If you'd like, we could try to get to know this school.. Together." She suggested, eyes looking away from the rest of her body and just focusing on her eyes. They were quite pretty. "I love your eyes.." She whispered, barely loud enough for herself to hear. She wanted to see her reaction. A small grin rested upon her lips.

A blush stained her cheeks at the comment. She wasn't used to compliments, the kindest words she recieved from her father being silence. She inclined her head slightly, "M-merci beaucoup!" She was feeling elated, for some odd reason. She seemed to be making a friend already, and she had only just gotten there. This made her unbelievably happy. Perhaps school this year would not only be enjoyable, but a sort of haven away from home.
She still had to work on weekends, unfortunatly, but she decided not to think of that for now. She was too pleased to think about work. The cafe was nice, but it didn't pay much. Her father threatened that if she ever came home without a decent paycheck, he would make her earn her keep in different ways. And the way he said it made her shudder.
Realizing that she had said something previous to her compliment, she blinked several times trying to recall what it was, exactly. Then realization dawned and she said in her soft voice, "I'd like that very much. I was afraid I'd have to wander around on my own." She couldn't wait to begin the exploration of the giant school. It was so amazing.

The sudden change of colour on the other girl's cheeks made Lindsay smile even more. She seemed to be a shy, innocent girl. That was always cute, no? Problem was, she apppeared to be quite young. She didn't want to get in trouble for being with her or anything. And she was probably too afraid to have a relationship, anyway. She looked what, thirteen? Fourteen?
The French words that left her mouth confused the neko, and it was obvious by the expression on her face. She just figured it meant thank you, judging by her physical reaction to the compliment. She just nodded her head, "you're very welcome." It was cute, especially since she didn't speak English too much. Actually, she did speak it, quite well at that. She just chose to use the occasional French word. Or maybe it was just from old habits.
Hearing her offer being accepted made the girl quite happy. "Yeah? I'm sure you would've made a friend on the first day, even if I wasn't here." She said with a supportive nod, placing a hand on the other's shoulder. "I... Never got your name.." She mumbled, figuring the female forgot because of all the questions and talking suddenly spilling out of her mouth. She decided to take it a bit slower from now on.

"Je...désolé," she said, with a faint smile. "I'm sorry. My name is Kasumi." She didn't bow, as Japanese normally would, finding that tradition a bit odd and hard to adapt to. She couldn't believe her own terrible manners, not even bothering to introduce herself when they met. Hadn't her mother taught her better? "And yours?" Resisting the use of 'et toi'.
She was also beginning to feel quite guilty for thinking something so rude about the girl upon first impression. She was quite nice, and Kasumi was beginning to take a real liking to her. She could tell that she would be someone she could eventually open up to, and not have to be such an idiot around. Luckily she hadn't managed to do anything stuipd lately, like tripping. She could feel her low confidence rising ever so slightly, her ears twitching.
The comment about her making friends made her happier than the other girl probably realized. She couldn't help but smile, less timidly than before. Remembering that they were going to explore the massive building together, she asked with a tilted head, "Where would you like to go first?"

Lindsay wasn't sure what she meant by "Je...désolé", so she just nodded her head, trying to match her expression. It could be a bit hard to be good friends with her if the female spoke a language she couldn't understand half the time. Her smile slowly widened when she recieved her name. "That's a nice name." She said, having never actually heard it.
When the female asked for her name, she raised an eyebrow slightly. She had already given her name. Maybe she failed to hear her? "Lindsay." She replied, deciding to give only her first name, just like the other had. She watched Kasumi's ears twitch, and smiled, making hers twitch too. She wasn't sure why they had twitched, but it was fun to have someone else with features of an animal as well.
"Find our dorms." Lindsay replied to the question. She paused, not wanting to make Kasumi think that she was being too forward, already inviting her to her dorm. "That way, we can drop off our bags and explore the school without having to carry any extra weight." She quickly explained, turning slightly so that she too was facing the school. She began to slowly walk, allowing time and room for her to catch up.

She watched the hypnotic ear twitching action, and wondered how she had managed to forget the other girl had already introduced herself. She caught up with Lindsey quickly, trying not to trip over her feet or do something else idiotic.
"Okay," she said agreeably, nodding. She wondered what the dorms would be like here, and found it quite nice that they got to share rooms with another person. It would be nice not having to sleep in a room alone in a place she was unfamiliar with.
Turning her eyes upon Lindsey's tail, since she still walked a bit behind her, she wondered what sort of person the girl was. She seemed very nice, but she wasn't sure if she should be so trusting to someone she had only just met.
She walked alongside Lindsey, folding her hands behind her back, and said in a curious tone, "I wonder where all the other students are..." The school so far came across as empty and bare of anyone but the two of them. "Its weird that we haven't seen anyone else yet."
She took ahold of one of the heavy doors, and tugged on it, allowing it to come open a bit so they could enter. They were bother slender, so it needn't be opened very wide.

“Come on, Aislinn. No need to be this shy.” A fifteen-year-old girl walked through the gates of Rakki-Sakura, a slightly smaller girl’s hand in both of her own. She seemed to be pulling the girl onto campus with some difficulty. Sighing, she let go of the other’s hand, making Aislinn fall backward. Watery blue eyes stared up at the older girl, Idelle, as though she was just hurt horribly. “Aww, Sissy. I’m sorry,” she said apologetically, kneeling in front of her sister. “But you were being stubborn ‘gain.” Idelle stuck her tongue out at the younger girl, making her smile weakly.
“Come on, though. Time to get up,” Idelle coaxed, taking both her sisters hands in her own and pulling back, helping both of them to their feet. Aislinn clung to her sister’s hand, half-hiding behind her twin as though the two of them were about to be attacked. They were both wearing outfits of their own design. Both were in a pale pink tank top, as well as a skirt. Around the brim of the skirts were a pale yellow lace that tickled Aislinn’s knees as she walked. They looked like twins, just as they had wanted to. There was a light yellow ribbon tying Aislinn’s teal hair at the back of her neck, and a single fingerless glove clung tightly to her left hand. It was that hand that was clinging to Idelle’s, which was covered in the matching glove, a pale yellow, trimmed with white.
A small panda plush was tucked under Aislinn’s free arm as she peeked from behind her sister, one of her hands gripping the back of the other girl’s shirt. Idelle cocked her head to the side, a curious flicker in her eyes as she watched the other two girls enter the building. This was probably the closest that the twins had ever been to another, unrelated person. Or people, in this case. Idelle could almost see her sister’s pout. They had planned on being the only ones on campus, as they lived so close by, but they had been wrong. And probably because they didn’t get up very early that morning, meaning it took them a long time to actually get to school.
“You’re never going to make any friends like this,” Idelle muttered, pulling her sister’s fingers from the back of her clothing and stroking her hair softly, as a mother would her child. After all, they’d been showing each other this same form of affection for years, being the only ones the two of them had. Aislinn looked up with pleading blue eyes. She didn’t really care about making friends as long as Idelle didn’t. But, alas, Idelle had been planning to at least try to be more social. If only her sister would allow the two of them to be apart for longer than a few hours.

Lindsay noticed Kasumi's gaze fix onto her tail, and she just smiled. She was used to being stared at when she didn't hide her animal parts. But this girl seemed to watch her in a good way. A fascinated way. That, she never minded. In fact, she enjoyed being watched like that. And the fact that the other female was alright with her being a neko, made her like her even more. It was hard to come across people like her, or maybe they too were hiding. At least in this school, there would be no hiding.
Her thoughts were soon disturbed when Kasumi spoke up. "Yeah, that is quite strange." She mumbled, looking around a bit. When she looked back, however, she noticed two other girls. "Wait - there's two over there." She said, motioning with her head for the bunny girl to turn around. She almost walked into the doors, actually, but luckily turned around and came to a quick stop before that could happen. "Thanks." She said to the girl with a small smile, walking through the doors and into the corridor.
She swung one of her bags forward, beginning to dig through some of the smaller pockets for her dorm key. Once she fished it out, she read the number. "I'm in dorm ten." She stated, zipping up the pocket she had gotten it from and holding the key in her hand. "What 'bout you?" She asked, firey red optics turning to examine the other girl.

Sophia stepped out of the taxi, streching slighty, then paid the taxi driver with a quiet, "Grazi". Brushing a stray ocher bach out of her clear blue eyes, she walked around to the trunk and yanked out her small suitcase. Grunting slightly with the effort, she walked through the tall metal gates and into the peacful courtyard. Sophia gazed in absolute wonder. She was used to cracked pavement, weed-covered lawns and thousands of filthy children, not the gourgeous scene that laid in front of her. As she slowly looked around, she noticed that there were four other girls in the courtyard, and quickly closed her gaping jaw. Hurriedly taking out her enrollment paper from her pocket, she saw she was in dorm five. Having absolutely no clue at all where that was in this enormous school, Sophia grudgingly decided that she had no choice but to..ask someone. Quickly fixing her tangerine-and-pale-blue hair into a shabby ponytail, she straightened her long flowy skirt and tentatively walked over to where two girls who were clearly twins were standing. Clearing her throat, and hoping she wouldn't look like a total idiot, she said softly, "Scusilo, but do either of you happen to know where dormroom five is?"

Kasumi turned curious eyes towards the curious twins and the other girl in the flowing skirt that now accompanied them. For some odd reason, just seeing other students relieved her slightly. She had wondered if she and her new friend would be forced to wander the school alone. She was envious of the closeness the two sisters shared, and she felt the familiar pang, wishing she two had a younger sister to play with and dote on.
"Oh," she said, tilting her head, then spinning around to look at her companion again, her skirt swinging about her legs, revealing a bit of her pale thighs. "I thought it was odd how we were the only ones here." She observed them quietly for a moment before reflecting on the later statement.
Still holding the door with her foot and her plushie under her arm, she rummaged in her bag for a few moments, finally pulling from within it a slightly crumpled and dingy looking sheet of paper. She gave Lindsay a sheepish smile, before reading it quickly, flicking her eyes across the surface, then shoving it back in. "Dorm seven," she replied, looking towards the school, wide eyed. She didn't want to wander around alone, and wondered if she and Lindsey would part so soon, or if she would be allowed to perhaps accompany lindsey to her room, if even for a moment.
