Yeah, we all know that the dragon represents satan.
I know it's just pixels But don't you think it's kinda bad wearing one on avatar?

Umm i'm not sure where to go with this. on the one hand you are right about the Dragon and Lucifer (satan is a word that means "oposer" i prefer to use his name) on the other what about the dragon in other belief systems? Personaly i think its too cute and too crouding for my avi so i won't get one. but from a religious standpoint i'm not sure.

A name or symbol only has the power you give to it. I don't see whats wrong with Gwee, he isn't supposed to be a representation of satan. Snakes are also symbols of satan, but they aren't any worse. Its not something I would worry about too much. Now if you got a tatoo with 666 on your forhead and a dragon encirling it that would be a problem. lol

except that the symbolism of the tattoo only has the power you give to it as well.

Yeah, but who would really get a tattoo on their forhead like that if they didn't know what it really meant?

I personally see no harm in dragons. I write, and in most of my stories, dragons are either good, or there are some good and some bad dragons. I have never really thought of Satan as a dragon (you can probably tell from my siggy), so I would have to agree with Lithanus.

. . . but . . . dragons aren't reprentations of lucifer. If you are gonig by the bible then accordingly so, snakes, are the manifestation of satan. ((although before that the Snake was a loving fertility symbol of women in the old pagan religions)) and it is just pixels after all.

I've never heard of a dragon representing Lucifer, I always thought it was a goat and a snake. Any way, even those are just animals, if you have a pet goat that doesn't make you Satanic, right?

no... I think it's probably fine to be wearing a dragon. Like Lithanus said, "a name or symbol only has the power you give to it." If you're wearing the dragon BECAUSE you think it represents satan, then it's wrong. If you're wearing because you like it then there is no problem.

Yeah, cuz you could have the staff of the angels, and say "These are my bleached devil wings," or "I ripped these of the top angel as I trekked to kill God"

The term "dinosaur" was started in the 1800s. Before then, they were all called dragons. The bible even mentions 2 of these in Job 40 and 41. They are called leviathan and behemoth. (I think the behemoth was something like a brachiosaurus.)

Striaght up. I agree.

My bestfriend Johnny, who is actually a very God fearing person (Honestly God and his mom are the only two people he is afraid of angering) loves dragons. I heard in old English literature that Dragons are a representaion of evil, but bible wise I think the only dragon mentioned was the Leviethan (If i spelt that right) and the referance of dinosaurs in there.
