 Sneaking away from where her mother was, this little blue fawn was looking for something to do. Nivi was curious, always taking in the things around her. Golden eyes were large as she watched the clouds roll by in the sky. It was so pretty! Her little tail wagged, showing off her excitment as she wandered aimlessly around with no particular destination in mind.

[ Kusafiri was making lazy circles in the sky. She was bored, and could fly almost while sleeping. Slowly she began her decent, chirping loudly just to make sure that others heard her beautiful voice. Well, she thought it was beautiful. It was horrible sounding to those that had the misfortune of hearing it. When she really did sing, or speak for that matter, it was a much lovelier sound. She hated it. Her Sharp violet eyes caught sight of a little kilpspringer. It was very vibrant colored and probobly an easy target for her to land on. She set her sights on it and attempted to land on it's rump. ]

Nivi's overly large ears turned at an interesting sound, something she's never heard before. Her golden eyes got large as she felt something soft land on her...wait? Land on her! The little blue fawn stopped walking to turn her head and come face to face with a bird. Blinking a few times, she smiled brightly, "Hi!"

[ Kusafiri blinked back at the big eyed Kilpspringer and cocked her head to the side. What big eyes this little one had. "Hi!" She squawked loudly. "Do your eyes ever try falling out of you head?" She stared intently at the golden orbs. They just stood out against the lavender across her face. Kusafiri Chirped. and awaited an answer. ]

As the bird spoke back, Nivi blinked in surprise. Whoa! This bird talked to her and she understood! A smile slowly grew on her features as she listened to the bird talk. Fall out of her head? She shook her head, "Not that I know of....are they supposed to come out?" So young, so naive.

[ Kusafiri shook her head, her neck feathers ruffled at the movement, "Not that I know." She spoke not so deep in thought. She knew that her eyes stuck in her head just fine. She hopped along the young one's back and squawked out a loud "What's your name?" and cocking her head to the side to stare in wonder. ]

As the little bird hopped along the fawn's back, Nivi watched in awe. This little creature had things that she didn't have, wings! Blinking, she smiled and answered, "I'm Nivi! Who are you?"

[ Kusafiri appeared to be amusing the young one, which she enjoied very much. To her it was like showing off and putting on a wonderous show. She hoped up and down Nivi's spine, and watched the large eye'd fawn. "I am Kusafiri." SHe squaked loudly, wondering how Nivi would react. ]

Eyes got wide as she wagged her little tail quite amused and in affect, was wagging the back half of her body. Nivi was enjoying Kusafiri, she's never met anything like her before. "What are you, Kusafiri? How come you don't look like me?"

[ The bright bird erupted in giggle-squwaks. This was such a funny little fawn! "I do not look like you because I am a Bird." She flaped her wings joyously. She woundered why the young one didn't know what a bird was. There were so many types scattered among the grat world of Africa. "So, does your nother know you're out alone?" She asked with a mischivious glint in her eyes. ]

"A bird!" Nivi giggled softly before blowing some air at Kusafiri. At her question, she gave her an innocent smile, "Of course not...I'm supposed to be watched by my Momma and friend, but I snuck away." She said, quite proud of herself for not getting caught.

[ Kusafiri mate a tut sound with her beak. "I would get back to her. It isn't safe you a young one to be out alone." Her violet eyes glanced around, her eyes catching a few lions that hid in the grass. She wouldn'r want anything to happen to a young one. It would be to upsetting. She couldn't take it when eggs were cracked. "So get back to her." She chirped and flapped her wings, hovering above the fawn. ]

Large ears lowered a bit before Nivi nodded her head. She should head back then. Smiling, "Ok...it was nice to meet you, Kusafiri! I hope to see you again." Turns to wander back to where she had came from.
