If you're intending to participate in the Winter Holiday exchange, make a post for yourself here, and add your likes/dislikes, collections etc..anything you think might be relevant or spark a little inspiration for the rest of us, don't forget to come back and add more as and when you think of it, every little hint helps 3nodding
Also, anything that you collect might give someone else an idea for an item to give to everyone, so don't be afraid to post you obsessions wink biggrin

Seeing as i made the thread i'd better get the ball rolling.. xd
i don't collect anything merchandise wise, helpful huh? i don't DO ornaments talk2hand lol
i love the seaside and things related to it, i adored the sand dollar that i got in the purkle places exchange, shame it was smashed when it arrived crying but i do love shells and the sea glass that you find on the beach 3nodding
rough cut/polished semi-precious stones, i have a little chuck of amethyst on a keychain that i got in Lanzarote, plus a fist sized lump of quartz that i picked up on a beach in Cornwall. ideally i'd like a wooden bowl full of different pieces of polished stone, i love the way they feel!
Crystals, things that sparkle and catch the light draw me like a magpie rolleyes
Windchimes, i have 3 small ones, one with a dragonfly: a gift from my Mum, one with a coloured crystal, dreamcatcher type decoration and one copper, verdigris one with a tiny dolphin.
Scented candles
Capiz shell items, i have some TINY trinket boxes made from this, they're pretty useless because of their size, but look lovely!

Wild flowers - daisies, poppies, sunflowers and forget-me -nots in particular.

i like buffy and angel stuff, anything Purple( just the other day i got my dad to get me a screwdriver set just cuz it was purple lol ), anything cute and plushie, pokemon(i know nerd alert), oh and i love niffty magnets of all kinds. epesily the poop ones that giggly sent in last years halloween box. they are still on my frige.
oooh i love neopet stuff and gothic things too. and some anime stuff. buffyand angel ismy fave too. i have season one of buffy and season five of angel. but that's as far as i got in it. ran out of money to buy more. ooooh i also am in surch for sailor moon things posters toys what ever.
oh and i was wondering you guys don't got to send my any presants but i would apricate some birthday cards. on or around my burthday. witch is sept 28th. i don't get much mail and i love getting things. like cards. i putting my addy up so feel free if you want

Wheeee whee Well, I'm probably the easiest person in the world to shop for because I like everything lol It's like my mom says, I could walk into any store and find at least ten things I just have to have rolleyes But for me it really is the thought that counts, and I can honestly say I've never received a gift I didn't like, because everything is valuable to me whee heart
But that probably wasn't very helpful wink So for those who really need ideas; my favorite color is purple (surprise surprise) and I love cats. Hmm, what else... Ooh, purple daisies whee And... coffee! Anything coffee-scented, flavored or shaped is good lol Even my kitchen curtains have images of coffee-cups on them xd

I am actually pretty hard to shop for because I just hate hate hate it when someone feels like they have to get something for someone or else they'll be offended and can't think of anything, so they look in the closet where they keep the presents they never wanted and wrap one of them up. Or even worse, spend a lot of money on something that's just going to go in that closet or straight to Good Will. (My mother in law is one of these except when she shops for my daughter)
So rule number one: nobody is allowed to feel they have to buy me anything by any date.
Rule number two: I don't care if gifts arrive near a birthday or Christmas or anything like that. Any day has a special smile in it if a present arrives. In fact it's too overwhelming for me to open lots of gifts on Christmas day, so I open them when they arrive, and I do the same on my daughter's birthday, let her open presents when they arrive. I think Fawn's present is the only one we open on the day or during the family party.
Rule number three: I am a big fan of presents that don't cost any money, or cost very little, so if people send me Neopets stuff, or make me a card (especially kids) or send me a note with a pretty stamp (I sort of collect when they are pretty or unique) on the envelope those things will make me feel so loved!
So with those guidelines (like Captain Barbosa says, they could be more like guidelines) in mind: Neopets stuff: I collect pretty fruits and vegetables and am trying to rearrange (and rewrite the wishlist) my gallery on my lipsengsfriend account. Anyone can send me any type of berry (pusberry, jumbleberry, brightvale berry, super juicy berry, half-eaten berry) anytime and I'll feel so loved. I also like Tangellas, but I love to toss them back out at all my friends.
Real life Neopets items: I love the TCG cards, and all the stickers.
My favorite thing to "receive" are gifts for Ella (age three tomorrow), anything she will have fun with and learn from, books, toys, crafts.
Outside of that, I don't know, I always like anything that smells good, bath salts, oil, beads, sparkly lotions, candles. I love pretty rocks and seashells. We are trying to put eggs on our Christmas tree (like ones that I've blown out and dyed). Two things I keep wanting to get for my husband are DVDs of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Firefly (also by Joss Whedon). But he keeps telling me not to buy them for him for anniversaries, birthdays etc. Maybe I should just buckle down and realize that I'm the one who really wants them.
Honestly, the sweetest thing is to log on to my Neopets account and find new berries there (Thanks Fawn!)

Okay, here's me, I'm pretty easy:
I collect erasers, stickers, sand, crystals, gemstones, Greek mythology stuff and cell phone charms. I also adore faeries and Sanrio and San-X characters. My favorite color is green and my favorite scent is jasmine. I'm on Gaia more than Neo.
That's about all I can think of for now.

I figure since some of you may not know me well if at all I might want to post here smile
I like buying gifts, and or making them moreso then getting them. That's why I decided to sign up!
I have a daughter, her name is Indigo, I love anything that reminds me of her, which is alot.. She is 3, Dark hair, blue eyes, and a Leo.
Favorites in No particular order:
Scents: Patchouli, Rose, Dragons Blood

Colors: Very Dark schemes
80's Cartoons: She-ra was my fave!
-Is a (stereotypical)Scorpio so if it has to do with death, spirituality or its creepy you are pretty good to go- blaugh
I knew I would forget something, I collect shotglasses from different states/countries, all shapes sizes and colors. And Masks, any and all masks from elegant to down right scary. (those are the two biggest "collections")
