Jyoukai
Gaia's Eastern lands consist of several thousands of islands, of which Chubu, Matsue and Nishi are the three largest. The Enkaki Sea surrounds the East's islands and is the sea that the Phoecian River empties out into.
The East has been divided into 8 regions and 24 prefectures which are all under the control of the Kaikou Shogunate. The 7 regions, Enpa, Yuki, Kaki, Ooken, Doshyou, Sora, and Yoru are all inhabited by Easterners while the last region, Yasayame, is completely inhabited.
Enpa
Enpa, the Southernmost reigion, consists of the lands in the southern islands and penninsula of the Jiyoukai. Fishing and ship building villages are scattered up and down the Coasts of Enpa and this region supports the majority of the East with the surplus of fish and houses the Eastern's navy.
Towns/Cities
Urasato - A small fishing village with a population of about 600, is located on the southern most island claimed by the East.
Yuki
The Northern-most regions of the East, Yuki is covered with tundra and contains the majority of Icewall glacier in it's territory.
Kaki
Ooken
Doshyou
Sora
Yoru
Yasayame
Once a fertile mountain range, Yasayame grew barren in an incident 50 years ago and since then has had it's name changed. Yasayame or "Barren Mountain" is full of monsters and demons that prey on animals or travelers that dare to climb it's peaks. Easterners have progressively moved farther and farther south from this mountain range until all the land within 100 kilometers of the mountains had been emptied of people. The closest village near this region is Saiden - in the Yuki Region.
