Andrani Setting her towel down(And carefully putting Frank on it so he didn't get dirty), Aurora pulled her shirt off before hurrying after. Underneath was a pink(Big surprise) bathing suit, decorated with little flowers. Laughing, the girl was soon splashing water at the boy, having absolute fun. Kuroneko-sama sat next to the stuffed bunny, as if to keep him company. Water was NOT friendly to cats.

Donnie stood up in the shallow pool, water pouring from his thick hair and now soaked t-shirt, and he, in turn pulled his own shirt off. He tossed it to the beach, watter spattering from it and several drops were headed towads the cat. Oops.

Letting out a hiss as he jumped up, Kuroneko-sama glared daggers at Donnie. Oh, he wasn't liked much anymore... The cat stalked around to the other side of Frank, continuing to glare at Donnie and the water.
And in said water, Aurora floated, the trinket of her diving discovery glimmering on her wrist. It was rather pretty, and she couldn't resist putting it on. Swimming around a bit, the blonde soon found some cattails, playing lightly with one. "I don't know why these are called cattails... They don't LOOK like a cat's tail to me..." Of course she'd know what a cat's tail looked like, she had a cat.

Donnie swam over to examine them himself, and after a moments thought, came up with an answer, of sorts. Breaking one off, jsut above the water line, he rolled it's fuzzy end in his hand.
"Well, this hand sort of looks like a cat tail. Not much, but I guess that's why. Things were different back when they were naming things. Like.." He looked around, then up to the sky.
"Everything was in black and white."

"Ooooh..." Aurora reached over and poked one of the cattails, then broke it off and batted at Donnie with it. "You're it!" She grinned big, then went swimming off into the water. Black and white or not, the here and now was full of color and, as far as Aurora knew, a lot more fun and excitement.

Ow...
"I'm it?" He thrashed his way through the water after her, weiliding his own cat tail as a tagging device.
He made some short, quick swings at her, but made no contact. She was rather good at swimming, and he wasn't exactly equipped for water travel. All he could do was trudge through the pond and hope she came into arms reach eventually.
He lunged, and tried again.

Giggling while swimming, Aurora let out a sudden surprised sound as she was dunked. Surfacing and spitting water out, she splashed water at Donnie. "Oh, now you'll get it!" She grinned, starting towards him. There was one way to make a boy fluster, and it made her giggle inside to think of doing such a thing.

He joked back, rather unaware of what she was giggling about. "Get what?"
He pushed backward, trying to get away, but his lower half couldn't move as quickly, as waterlogged as his jeans were. His head and shoulders went back, his feet, not so much, and he submerged with a splash.

Pausing to watch him in the water, Aurora swam forward and pulled him out. "Maybe we should get out, your jeans are weighing you down." She paused in thought, eyeing Donnie. "Unless you wanted to swim in your underwear?"

Donnie re-ererged, wiping water from his eyes even as it continued to drip from his thick, mussy head of hair. He sputtered as Andrani spoke, cleaning the water from his lips, and as he at last made sense of what she said, his face flushed.
"Eh.. Uh. We. Uh, no. Uh."
His face was now a bright red, his eyes wide as his brain sort of melted for a moment.
"We could go to my shorts! I have Swimming swim. Er.." Oh dear.
"I have pool!" Oh dear. Were those words?
He started over again, averting his gaze as he spoke, rarther slowly, ensuring he didn't mess this up. "I have a pool, at home, that we can swim in. I have swimming shorts that I can wear there too."
That was a little better. He looked up, a hesitant smile on his face. What just happened there?

Giggling at the stuttering, Aurora grabbed her towel to dry off. "Alright." She smiled, observing the blush. It was rather cute on him. On impulse after grabbing her stuff, she leaned forward and planted a kiss on his cheek. "You're cute when you blush, Donnie."

Donnie just stood shocked, for a very long time. His cheeks a brilliant shade of red as he tried to make sense of what jsut happened. "Thank you...?"
At length, he blinked a few times, and got out of the pond, shaking a bit to dry off, though he was still visibly dazed.
He looked ot her and blinked a few times. "Um. I..."
He didn't finish and picked his shirt up wringing it out into the pond and putting it on his still dripping body. He then scooped up Frank, and looked back to her, still a little surprised, though the red had faded to a soft pink.
"Um. My place isn't too far from here. Only about ten minutes."

The more he blushed, the more she giggled. But not wanting his head to pop from it, she refrained from further comment about it. "Alright, lead the way!" She turned to where Frank had been. "Come on, Kuro!" The cat let out a meow and followed, tail waving in the air.

He led her out past the tall grass back onto the road, and started to make his way into town. It was a little quiet at first and it seemed awkward somehow.
"So uh, I hope I didn't already ask.. Um, so where do you live?"
They were simply skirting the town, and it wouldn't be long before they reached the road home.

"Up at the castle. But I also go home with Andrani. She lives in an old house she's fixing up. It's rather cool!" As they walked, a chill wind blew. It was a sign that fall was on the verge of overtaking them for a season. Shivering, Aurora held her towel close around her shoulders. Kuro let out a meow, chasing after a leaf caught in the wind.
