((Past RP with Kimya))
Mbayas attitude to life had worsened in the past few days. Even in these early weeks in her life was she screeching insults at her mother and critisizing her brothers strange habits. She was glad to finally get away from her irritating family. Her "perfect" family, with Mchele and Danzi, who wasn't even part of their family by blood.
She gave a shudder. Life in the pridelands, and life with her family disguisted her. It was so loving and happy. All she wanted was to do what she wanted, and she didn't care who she hurt in the way.
Padding along with a smirk, she realised she had passed the border of the pridelands. Finally... Flicking her tail in an annoyed fashion she continued until she saw a rather large tree blocking her path. Sneering, she stopped to peer inside the opening at the bottom. Her hazel eyes widened a little as she noticed one or two squirming bundles of fur.
Kimya rounded the tree with a playful stride, smiling happily to herself. She was enjoying a game of hopping over the trees massive (to her) roots, kind of like a simplified version of hopscotch.
Her brothers were still resting inside the den and mother wasn't far off at all. She'd simply asked the cubs to stay near (Well, IN) the den where she could watch them.
As she rounded towards the front she let out a little laugh, but stopped abruptly upon spotting Mbaya, dust unsettled and floating up about the little lioness.
Silently she stared for a few moments, before finally speaking up in a quiet, almost inaudible voice.
"Hello, who are you?"
Her cold gaze fell onto the young female. Her expression did not lighten in the least, infact she frowned, bearing her white teeth in a menacing grin. "Hello..." Her voice was silky, but certainly not sweet. This lioness was out to manipulate anyone who was gullible enough to fall for any of her tricks.
Eyes flickering over the brown and black-spotted cub, she gave her a filthy look, one of utter hatred, though she knew nothing of this female. "Why would you need to know that?!" She snapped, stepping closer to her.
"Who are you?!" Her voice was now as equally cold as her gaze. "And why are you in my way?"
Kimya frowned back, though it was more a lowering of her eyebrows. This other female was being very mean and rather rude. Considering she didn't know the first thing about Kimya, Kimya felt that there was no need for such disdainful looks. The words only held a face value meaning to the young one, however, as she chose not to buy into being bullied.
"I'm just being polite. We can't be friends if we don't even know each other's names." Her tail swayed calmly behind her as she gave the other an uncertain look, as if not sure what to make of her malicious spirit. "I'm not in your way. You can go around me if you want to get by so badly..."
Oh this was something new. Mbaya looked shocked for a moment, but her expression soon returned to one of hatred. She wasn't used to people standing up to her, apart from her parents, of course.
Letting out a harsh laugh, her eyes glittered. She neared the female, puffing out her chest to make her appear bigger. "Oh you poor thing..." She traced her eyes over her again. "Whoever said we'd ever be friends?" She spat out every last syllablle, her voice still as silky as ever.
Kimya didn't look at all smug, nor pleased, nor even intimidated by any of Mbaya's responses. When the slightly older lioness cub began approaching Kimya, however, Kimya's ears swiveled to keep an accurate tab on the other's actions. Everything about this female should've screamed warnings to the smaller cub, but perhaps she just didn't know better yet.
Kimya settled herself to sit down as she watched Mbaya stalk.
"You must be very lonely." Was all she said in response, a quiet murmer, saddened to realize this. "I don't think many people would want to play with you if this is how you treat others."
"LONELY?" She drew even closer, pressing her face towards the cub with a look of utter loathing. Her voice faltered for a moment, trying to regain its usual tone, though it wasn't without a hint of anger.
"My whole damn life so far has been full of intruders." Mbaya looked away for a moment, casting her evil glare somewhere else. "What don't you get?!" Her voice began to rise and suddenly her maw opened to let out a string of vile words, spilling out towards the innocent cubs ears. "I want to be alone. That's how I am..."
On a second thought, she would have fun manipulating others, if she stayed arond long enough to convince them. She shrugged that thought off.
"I don't want to play..." She snarled. "Unless...tell me, do you want a permenant reminder of me?" Raising a paw, she flashed several sharpened claws, before grinning maliciously.
Out of Reflex the little female leaned back and away, overdoing it and squeaking as she fell backwards into the dirt rather ungracefully. She rolled to her paws quickly in a bit of alarm and edged back from the other female, convinced now that she had to be the most evil person she'd ever meet (since she couldn't say she'd met anyone besides her family, other than this).
The sight of the claws made Kimya's eyes widen a bit, she'd yet to encounter anyone that wanted to do her harm before either. She wasn't sure what to think!
"No!"
Mbaya laughed as she fell, running after the falling cub. Maybe this wasnt a challenge after all. She knew how evil she was, and she knew how it gave her power, and that's what she wanted.
Sneaking towards the cub in a position ready to pounce she swore again, this time at the young female, evil eyes glimmering with rage. How dare this stupid cub intefere with her journey. She acted so sweet too. Shaking her head, Mbaya let out a loud snarl, pouncing swifly to land right next to the cub.
The toddler had no way of knowing that Mbaya wouldn't, or would harm her. She was just old enough to be out on her own outside the den after all, and instinctive fear overrode any logic she might've developed by now.
"STOP! MOMMY!!" Kimya cried out and swiftly fell to the ground again, bringing her paws up and over her head, eyes shut tight as she feared the bite of Mbaya's claws.
She was laughing harder now, and could see the young cub shaking with fear. She stepped over her swiftly, brushing her very gently with a paw. "Calling Mommy are you?" He voice was spiteful and it rose and sunk, making it seem as if she would scream at any moment. "Has she left you all alone, all alone in a dangerous place?" Her eyes narrowed.
Kimya said nothing more for a moment, trying desperately to stop panicking before she began to cry. The only thing dangerous around here was this female, and Kimya decided that try as she might, she just didn't like her.
"Leave me alone!" She protested, not unburying her face yet.
Mbaya cackled, and seeing no real point in harming the cub. She fled. She'd had her fun for now and she had others to be truamatizing.
