do you have a school that utilizes win2k? if you do, i would suggest that you borrow a disk from the tech department there... (i haven't run across anything but win2k PRO, is there a win 2k that isn't pro?)

i know where you can download and yet.. I don't know if you can get it for windows 2000 but you can download it at animelab.com.... go to dictionary at the animelab.com and then there will be a tab that says "Can't read the Kanji or Japanese? Download it here" Click on that tab and it'll lead you straight to downloading it, but first, you gotta check if it says that your computer system is right for it. It'll say if it is compatible for it and if it is, then you can download it into your system. Then try it out by going to outlook express but first you gotta go your little desktop and click on the EN gray button. Click on that and put it to JA which is the Japanese IME.
Then a little icon with a pen will appear and it will say A or something like that.... and then change that to the way top of some Hiragana. Then you can try it out on outlook express. ^^ tee hee.
