... who your friends can be sometimes. I was over at my friend's house this evening. I was there with two of my closest friends and we started talking. One, Tim, I have known for a very long time, but in the last two-three years we've become best friends. We know all that there is to know about each other. However, my other friend, whose name shall be Friend A, for personal reasons, was actually talking about himself and his beliefs. I personally always thought of him as a hard a**, thinking of himself, never backing down and just flying through life. However, he talked about his beliefs and his past. He was into major illegal activities that he was barely able to get away from with his life. He told us everything... and for once I felt that he was a brother of mine. He spoke passionately about himself, his ordeals, and his beliefs.
This all came as quite a shock to me. But, I always felt that he was more then he always let on. So, my question to you all is this...
Have you ever known someone for years and years, and all of a sudden, you gain a much different perspective of him or her? Discuss.
