Well, I think he's a cool character. I love how L.S. wrote him. But I also like how J.K. wrote Umbridge, doesn't mean I like her whee

I'll say...I like him. By no means my favorite character, but...

He's defenitely a neat character and I think he's well written.. Also not my favorite character but the books wouldn't be the same without him. 3nodding

Besides, I like how L.S. made him like...funny, but not totally a weird, goofy villain, you know? He still has a slight darkness to him.

Nadils Head I agree. Jim Carrey is a god. Any role that is even slightly comical should be played by him. Especially since Count Olaf has disguises in just about every book, which seems perfect for Jim Carrey and his style of humor..

Olaf is'nt supposed to be a comical role. besides we are discussing COUNT OLAF, not Jim Carrey. Actually, Count Olaf is a comical role. A lot of the time, he proves to be rather stupid, especially when he doesn't notice that the Baudelaires can see through his disguise. Also, he often provides humor indirectly, through ridiculous disguises and accents that fool everyone else.
