Unlike her first day of visiting the lands she had currently located her wanderings to the inner boundaries of, Leboya found that morning to be rather cool, which was nice in comparison to the heat of the day before.
Somehow, the jellyfish lioness felt that over the night, someone had appeased the god of the sun (or the god had gotten laid and was far to complacent to cause any heat-waves today.. either or.) over the night, which may have given to the pleasing weather. The slight morning breeze didn't cause any troubles either, and in fact, brought a bit of uncharacteristic morning cheer (not to say Leboya was grumpy, but rather, she wasn't a morning lioness..) to her as she sat on her rocky post, humming a little diddy that simply came to mind.
"A song of the savannah, the tune that we all know, my mother sung it to me, when I was but a child, the song of wadnering spirits, together in unity, off beyond our line of sight...
and.. ..
and..."
The lioness winced. Had she forgotten it from there?

Mtima'safi was out for a walk in the cool morning air, in a fairly good mood. She was keeping up her disguise, hiding her wings, and found that keeping it up was something of a nuisance. She wasn't heading anywhere in particular, and decided that the early morning would be the time fewer lions would be around. With a sigh, she took a moment to stretch, extending her legs far ahead of her. When her eyes opened, she found herself staring in the direction of an oddly colored figure in the distance. So much purple made her eyes widen and caused her to grin. Purple was the color of royalty and nobility, for a start. Not only that, but it was also one color related specifically to the soul. It was definetely a favorite of this lioness'.
Still smiling, she headed towards Leboya, approaching in time to catch the low humming as it came to an end. A wonderful soul indeed, thus far seeming suitable for such a pelt.
"Good morning," she greeted her, "That is a lovely tune."

She wasn't one to take up to being... well.. 'gaurded' when her thoughts dragged her off to get lost in them, not to return. To say, she could have been scooped up and toted off in a UFO, and she still would have remained there thinking.
However, her thoughts were quickly intrupted by another voice, causing a slight 'eep' to come from the lioness, whom blushed and turned to look towards the other lioness who had 'snuck' up on her, an embarassed smile painting itself across her expression.
"Ah!"
It was a momentary outcry of sort of shock as she was greeted, nodding her head shyly in agreement. Yes, a lovely tune...
".. Good morning.." she replied, the blush coming back. "I thank you for complimenting the tune.. but... it's much better when I remember the words of it, I'm sure..." she explained, her habit of bowing her head kicking in as she made the gesture towards the disguised goddess.
"It's a lovely day, isn't it?" she then chimed, striking up conversation like a good little social lioness.

Mtima looked at Leboya carefully as she started back into reality, taking the time to get a better look at the lioness. She most certainly was a beautiful pattern of purples, and between the friendly words and what she could tell just by looking it did indeed suit her.
"That's too bad, but I think it's the tune that really makes a song," she commented with a smile. The arrogance in her makes her smile widen at the polite bowing of her head, "It's a lovely beginning to the day, for sure."
Her eyes looked Leboya up from head to toe, "I am Mtima'safi, are you a part of the Pride here?"

Leboya shrugged. "Perhaps I cannot enjoy the tune when I have focusing on the words. It's a plague most of the world has, focusing on the little and not on the entire result." Another mental wince.
She needed to stop being like that, the 'voice of the entire community of the world'. It was.. well, as fun as it was, it was still.. troublesome.
"Ah, yes. I agree.. definately a lovely day. I haven't been so.. awake and ready for the day in a long time." she explained, looking up towards the sky distractedly as she was looked over, a content smile painted across her face, before she looked back towards the goddess as she introduced herself.
"Mr?"
There was a pause as her brain reset itself. "Ah! I'm Leboya... and no. I'm not part of the pride here. I am but a rogue in the lands."

"I suppose it's good to look at the big picture," she agreed warily, though she personally felt a song could be enjoyed even without the words. Her gaze followed Leboya's to the sky, giving a soft 'mhmm' in response to her comment about being ready for the day. Her ears flickered back towards the lioness when she paused, and soon her eyes moved back down.
"It's truly a pleasure to meet you, Leboya," she said, taking a seat and curling her tail around her toes, "You have remarkable fur."

A sudden laugh came from the lioness, as she'd been counting down how long it would take to see her fur come into the conversation as subject matter. It was -always- the fur. Always.
Turning her entire body to face Mtima, the jellyfish lioness nodded a bit. "I thank you for the compliment, though I've heard many comments about my coat. I'm glad you approve, however." she added, smoothing down a spot on her coat with a paw, almost out of habit.
"I myself fancy your own more then mine. Very sunny and happy."
Which was definately a look she wouldn't have minded going for. Nope~!

Mtima didn't mind the laugh, and was not surprised by the fact she has received so many compliments on it before. The compliment on her own bright yellow coat widens her smile as well.
"Purple is a beautiful color, the color of nobility and the soul," she explained her reasons for liking it so much, though it was vague and not really necessary. "Thank you," she replied gratefully to the comment on her own fur, glancing over her shoulder at the runes there.

Leboya blushed at the details of why her coat was so 'special' in shades to this one, nodding a bit. "I knew that purple was a color of royalty.. however.. I was not aware that it had ties to the soul."
She thought about this for a moment, considering this, before nodding firmly.
Yes..
"But it does make sense in an odd way... I'd just never heard it."
She then shook her head and sighed, before looking over towards the large stony structure that marked the lands as the pridelands of Mufasa and Sarabi, sighing a bit, but saying nothing, just.. admiring.
"Put I think the more subtle colors of nature are much nicer then any other bright and fancy color out there....."

Mtima was pleased with the reaction to the details of the color purple that she revealed to Leboya. She was tempted to show her own connection to souls, to further explain why she enjoyed it so much, but her thoughts were pushed back to Pridelands and nature.
"Nature has it's own kind of beauty," she agreed.

Leboya nodded.
"It has to be. Otherwise we'd look at it disgustedly and bury ourselves somewhere where we wouldn't have to look at it." she guessed, shrugging a bit.
"Either that, or the more obsessive ones would decide not to bring children into the 'ugly world'."
A laugh came from the lioness at the thought. "Though I wouldn't see that happening in any high number... simply a thought.."

Mtima laughed with Leboya, not liking the idea of a mass decision not to have children- imagine how her domain would be affected by such a thing, if fewer 'hosts' were available. Nevertheless, it was somewhat entertaining.
"I like to think we'd find beauty in nature no matter how it looked," she commented, "If there's nothing to compare it to, perhaps it would not seem so disgusting. But I personally hope it never would come to such things."

"Ah, but we're vain creatures... we would compare it to ourselves, as oppossed to comparing nature.... to nature." the laugh continued to ring through her explanation, before she finally stifled it with a paw, her shoulders continuing to shake for a few moments, before shaking her head.
"Ah, but happily it isn't that way, so I shouldn't be speculating that far out into 'odd' land over there, now should I, Mtima?" the lioness inquired, looking to the other lioness, before her eyes drifted towards the sky.
Ahh.. it would be a pity to be born colorblind in such a colorful world, now wouldn't it?
"What brought you out here this morning, anyways?"

"You're right, we do that even now," she agreed thoughtfully, looking out over the Pridelands, "But then, it would be lions like you and I who would make it so. Those that blend best have the easiest time suriving, hunting is easier if you don't stand out. If the world changed, the lions would change."
She laughed as Leboya pointed out it wasn't how the world was, thus it was not something to worry about. "Another good point, but such things are interesting to discuss," she nodded.
With a sigh and glanced back to Leboya, and then up to the sky as well.
"I was just out for a walk, I didn't expect to see anyone," she replied, swishing her tail.

She took the thought into consideration, nodding. Yes... it -was- quite difficult to hunt when you were a neon sign saying 'I'M RIGHT HERE. LOOKITME', but at the same time, you met the nicest of strangers because of it.
"Ah.. walks are good.." Leboya mused out loud, nodding in self-confirmation. They had to be some-level of good, or else she wouldn't be walking everywhere, and would still be back in...
.. well.. erm. Not that she -knew- where she'd came from. In fact, she couldn't even remember!
"I myself was also out for a walk to wake myself up.. it wasn't working very well when you came along." she then admitted, blushing a bit, as if she were embarrassed by the fact.
