A shop bell tinkles faintly as you step into the dim interior of the shop. Alongside the expected groceries, clothing and plain weaponry are all manner of curiosities; from a grinning skull that you could swear is watching you to a rustling bag of what appears to be impossibly white stones. Amidst the orderly clutter is a well scrubbed counter, behind which sits the slightly less well scrubbed owner of the store."Welcome to the Merchant Post my friend, what can I do for you today? I stock everything a young buccaneer might need, from a trusty cutlass to a stout pair of boots." He says cheerily, then leans a little closer."Or perhaps you're looking for something a little more... exotic. I also sell the occasional oddity when it comes my way, and for a fair fee I might be willing to share their mysteries with you. But I take no responsibility for those items of er, questionable effect! If something untoward happens you can't say I didn't warn you!"  Welcome to the merchant post, where you can buy objects for your pirate with doubloons earned in rp. To buy an object just roleplay your request in this topic. Remember; 1 doubloon has the relative worth of 1000 gaia gold. If you need/want to buy Doubloons, send a trade to JohnnyBones. Label the trade "[Pirate's name] buying [Number] Doubloons" and send 1000 gold per Doubloon you wish to buy.  Custom objects are just that - custom. You tell the merchant what you want and you pay a fee based on what kind of object it is. Custom objects are cheaper because they have no effect except to look pretty when you next earn promotion, and as they are not specific items they can be bought numerous times. If there is an object you want but aren't sure what catergory it would be under, simply ask. Nicolas walks into the merchant post, a somewhat bored expression on his face. Within his left hand his bag of dubloons jangled lightly. Their few battles had provided him with roughly 20 coins, but looking at the prices it wouldn't provide much for his new attire. Laughing lightly, he grabbed what was needed and tossed the dubloons in the direction of the merchant. He made certain to toss the exact price, not a single dubloon extra.
Piercing (2) - 6 dubloons
Dagger - 4 dubloons
Sash - 2 dubloons
TOTAL: 12 dubloons

Tracey walked in to get a few things to make his life easier. After seeing that almost nothing he wanted was in stock, he approached the merchant about custom ordering.
1: Pushing a piece of paper to the merchant he said "I'd like a pendent that looks something like this:rough pendent sketch. I don't mind if it comes out to be more stylized. I'd like it on a silver chain."
2: "The next thing I want is the boatswain's mate affects. I am going to descried them all together. The most important boatswain's mate tools are held close at reach in a black leather sheath, normally made from someone's boot. The sheath hooks onto the belt and hold the rigging knife and marlin spike. The Marlin spike looks like this: marlin spike. In the sheath, it is to the left of the rigging knife and the sheath only covers about an inch of the spike right below the round head where the spike falls once its put in the sheath. The modification to it that I would like is instead of holding a small rigging knife, I'd like the knife part of the sheath, which is like any other knife sheath, just with a marlin spike on it, to be stretched a bit so a standard size knife can fit. The knife itself, I want a sea foam green hilt to it. The knife cannot be seriated though in the sheath you shouldn‘t be able to see the blade, just the hilt, and some verities have the tip of the blade showing but no more." He hopped he was clear enough.

Annabelle made her way into the shop, her coins clenched in her hand. "Excuse me?" She said, walking up to the counter and smiling at the manager. "I'd like to have my hair done, please. I'd like to have it down, and when it's down it reaches my elbows. As for my hairband," She remarked, removing the red headband from her hair. "I'd like to have it pushing back my bangs, please. I believe this will cost me 5 dubloons. Here you are." She handed the dubloons to the merchant, and waited for her hair to be done.

Mariko hops in happily, swinging her recently-earned five dubloons. She plops down in the hairstylist's highchair and slams her coins down.
"Hair done please, like I told you eariler!" she yelled and leaned back in the seat.

Arabeth walked in, glancing around the shop. She stepped up to the merchant’s counter and laid the small bag of doubloons down before her. “I’d like to purchase that Amulet of the 7th Angel, quite quick if you will.” She said grinning.

John looked over the items in the shop before spotting the
Eye of the Liger. He didnt care what it did he had to have it.
"May I purchase The Eye of the Liger and the lemon drops,please?"

((He has 18 so I owe you 12k, with the lemon drops does that mean he can talk to Mr. Gibbons all the time?))

He walked into the store, and looked around at fist, several short swords came to his eye, but then he found the large muskets, he took it off the shelf, and practiced aiming with it, he found it wasn't too heavy, and if he could strap it too his back it wouldn't get in the way whilst climbing. He imagined himself in the crows-nest shooting at the enemy pirates, they wouldn't be able to climb up as he would just shoot them, and the crows nest was a great vantage point, he could easily duck out the way. He looked for the owner and asked ''I believe this is 6 Dubloons, I would like to buy it''
(Avelop hhas 5 dubloons so I'll send you 1k)

The merchant gasps, "Ri...Right away madam," he hobbles over to the case holding the amulet, he opens the case and takes the amulet out. "100 Doubloons please," he says as he takes the money for the amulet. Granted

Jonathan walks into the quiant little shop and looks around for various things. After taking a few items he needs to the counter, he leans in and asks the shopkeeper in a whisper, "What else do you have in the way of exotic items?"

After taking a few items he needs to the counter, he leans in and asks the shopkeeper in a whisper, "What else do you have in the way of exotic items?"1 heart-shaped silver pendant (necklace) - 2 Dubloons 1 musket - 6 dubloons Total: 8 dubloons The merchant took the 8 Doubloons for the items then starts to whisper, "Don't ask about such items in public, are you trying to alert thieves?" he grumbled softly, "what is on my shelves is what I have, nothing more until things get shipped in." Cosette walks into the small shop and glances around. Walking over to the display case she picks up a small gold ring. Pleased with this she carries it around the store, followed by a book. 'The romance of the three kingdoms' As she was about to go to the counter the muskets catch her eye. With a Smirk she balances the and ring in her left hand and grabs the weapon with her right. Approching the counter she lays her items down carefully and grins.
