Does anyone here know an old hippie? i mean like they were in the 60s, like yeah.
my granda was one. she taught me everything i know. about the dead, jimi, joan, and she even taught me how to play guitar, she was one groovy grandma. she had every single grateful dead album. yay. i love her soo much heart

Im jealous, I wish my grandparents were cool hippies, My dad does like CCR, Eagles, Everly Brothers (well he has the cd...that im borrowing), Moody Blues..ect ect... other then that he likes bluegrass...which isnt so bad.

my art teacher for the is and was a true hippie. She is always playing the dead and is obsesed with wide spread panic. She told us about how she just started wearing a bra in the 1990's. Her art work is all botanical and made of "naturual fibers". She's awesome

My Mom was a total hippie. She even went to Woodstock or whatever it was called. She used to be a stoner till she got knocked up with me. Then she quit after she was 4 months along. She raised me in complete hippie fashion. She was always big on sunshine, and inscense, and Roger Whittaker, and Cher (her fave song is Gypsies Tramps and Thieves.)
Yeah, my Mom is such a hippie. Me too. I wear peasant shirts and I'm a stoner too. Yeah, the weed is definately a +. biggrin

My dad was a wicked hippie... Moreso than my mom, but she was one too. I stumbled upon my parents' old photo albums, and there are tons of pics (from the 70s, actually) of them partyin with their long hair and hippie clothes and... weed. LOL! I have pics from a "vodka party" where they got wasted with their best friends, and a buncha pics of them smoking. Even a pic of my dad rolling a joint. heh heh. Oh well, their secret's out. If only I can keep mine... neutral
My dad knows I smoke pot. My mom doesn't REALLY. sweatdrop
