This is my first week of band camp!!! I think that its kinda fun, but it does make you tired.... But FUN!!!

yeah... today was day 4 and sweatdrop I got hit in the head with a tuba.... sweatdrop it didn't hurt, it just startled me...

just wait till you get hit bya gaurdy. I've gotten hit in the bell of my bass clarinet inthe middle of a show. Then at least on band member gets hit in the nose. And also last year we had three guys get hit in that sensitive area last year. But my band camp is over an dI'm in school now.

I got 10 hours a day. We finished 45 sets the first week. They hope we'll be finished with the show, to music, this Friday. I think we could do it, but it'd be a huge mess to clean the next week. xP

wow! Yeah, all of the sudden, I'm like really really nervous about the compititions... I scared taht I'm gonna freeze up if I have a judge come up to me..

I don't get that nervous other than worrying that a judge will come and stare at me. Band concerts and stuff doesn't really scare me that much, but I am completely terrified of auditions. xp

I'm pretty scared of auditions too gonk I seem to forget EVERYTHING once I walk into the room...the judge staring at me--even when it was my own teacher it was scary, and he's judged me during lessons...all the time gonk like at wind ensemble auditions I had my scales nailed, my Eb was perfect, My D scale and i think A scale was too [I had to play those] and well, I think I forget my Bb while going down...on Eb...and D i hesitated...and A was perfect sweatdrop
ITS SCARY crying all your hard work disappears like that!

Mage- Trust me, you won't notice the judges unless they sneeze behind you really loudly or something. You'll be way too into your show to notice.
I love band camp so much! 12 hours for five days of pure band! <33 Plus six more days of four-hour sessions. Makes me soo happy. Then this weekend is the Preview show, hurray! <33333
Mia- And that's why we don't use bass clarinets. Because they're too lame for marching.

OMG! We just had our preview show and it was soo much fun. Except for my messing up of course. Stupid three-four measure.

6 to 5, thats nuts, we do eight to five, 22 and a half iinches on each step

I knew your band was crazy, but geez. No 6-5? We do bunches of different sizes. Like last year we had to do a 5-5 for four steps. Good thing it was forwards. xP
