Well... what's your favorite (and least favorite) weapon... anything from the common sword to the Yoshitsuna, or the Fenrir Gun, Infernal Staff, etcetera...
Favorite: Well the Fenrir gun, I got used to equip it on my Scout and Thief... d-_____-b too bad there are better ones...
Least Favorite: Arondight, the shape of the sword was... Hmm... not of my taste... Though I didn't like it that much it was useful since it was very powerful by the time I got it...

I like the swords, I love doing the Nightsever xd and yeah its a shame they didnt have scythes, or maybe whips, maces, and nunchakus 3nodding

Swords, by far; my best three use them.
The Yoshitsuna looks pretty cool, as long as you don't mind the best weapon in the game looking like a really big Light Sabre that makes any lightsaber from Star Wars look like a wimp. The gun-like range of the normal attack and the massively UBER stats don't hurt, either.

Dani pook I love the Axes, I wish they had scythes though. >____> Yeah, I also wished for that... the closest to a Scythe is the Dream Axe... Though is not that strong... crying

Swords. I don't have a particular favorite sword (honestly don't pay attention to that stuff 9.9), but it seemed that half of my characters used them. Laharl, my ronin, and my fighter used them.

Hah hah, anyone who knows me knows what I'm going to say....
Bows! xd My favorite bow is the Ull's Bow, because it shoots as far as a normal gun, and it looks cool. xd

Well, I'm very into archery, so I loved the bows and arrows.
But besides those, many of my characters had guns. *loves guns*

I'm partial to the swords and axes, myself, though I like how some of the staves look. My strongest characters ether had an axe or a sword. ^^

Swords. But like Achan, I didn't pay much attention to looks of weapons. Though I did laugh when I got my First Lightsaber.
