Ok, In people magazine May edition of 100 most beautiful edition on page 138 it talk's about Rupert Friend, and his upcomming role in GUILTY PLEASURES with MISCHA BARTON!
Jean Claude and Anita anyone???
A friend of mine just showed me this and I was floored! burning_eyes EDIT: Ok, I did a look up of Mischa barton and it looks like Guilty Pleasure's is a totally different movie than I thought it was going to be. Pooey.

Well, "Guilty Pleasures" isn't exactly an original title. Besides, MISCHA BARTON?
M-I-S-C-H-A B-A-R-T-O-N?!
Thank Flying Spaghetti Monster it isn't LKH's Guilty Pleasures. I'd kill the casting agent or manager or whoever if they cast Mischa Barton as Anita.

She doesn't look Anita quaility...come on! We're talking about Anita! She kicks vampire were a** amongst other things....She's got the attitude that's die or be dead...>.< bad pun... plus I don't think the Guilty pleasure films you see here and here Are the same films, let alone having anything to do with the book itself... other than this Quote: Plot Outline: For thrills, a young couple set up a ménage-à-trois before their wedding. though even that rouses suspision because in Guilty Pleasures, there's no mentioning of a wedding... Then again it's been a while since I've read the books too...

If it weren't for her age and accent, i would say Catherine Zeta Jones, but i think thwey will ahve to find a new actress to play her. Small, pale, black black curly hair, and dark near black eyes, plus the figure and the stage presense she would need to pull her off. That is going to be one hard set of shoes to fill in^^
i actually thought about going to a film producer and asking, or mailing Luarell myself. i ahve wanted one since i read the book guilty pleasures

i know but some of the movies out these days have them too. Plus there is a Misha BNarton film coming out with the same title, so lol. I cannot think of anyothers, i just woke up, but yea. I think as long as as the series roles down, they try to cut down the sex. I think it would be fine, the movie industry would just say its a soft porn....actually, there is nothing sofdt baout those books.

Honestly, I think you're right, they would cut down on the sex and bring more action, or emotional stuff. It definitely wouldn't follow the book word-for-word unless Hamilton was in the driver's seat, and even then. Some books really just aren't written for the movies, and honestly.. I doubt a movie series would stretch as far as Danse Macabre, so that wouldn't be a huge issue. It would be the first couple books - which aren't so heavy on the smut.

If anyone should play Anita in a movie, it should be my old dance teacher. She can act, she has the physique and she's into that kind of stuff. Oh yeah, and she has a penguin obsession.
