Just because it originated there doesn't mean only those with Irish blood in them have to enjoy it!

ok,we irish love our paddy's day and halloween but hate when we other countries celebrating our customs, particularally the americans.surely americans have their own traditions and customs other than thanksgiving.if foreigners wish to enjoy irish customs they should come to ireland to see them.50% of america cannot be irish-they are american, and 50% of americans with irish descent is impossible-look how tiny ireland is and how huge america is.

Oh my, my, my, have you not heard of immigration?

PS The size of the two countries has nothing to do with it.

Small colonies and immigrants are what founded America.

I have heard that St Patricks day is mostly boring in Ireland anyway, you eat corn beef cabbage and maybe pray. We have a big big St Patricks day celibration.

Also, St Patty's day and Halloween are relegious holidays (or halloween used to be) and you can't expect christians to stp celibrating something like Christmas because it is European.

Easter is a celtic holiday too. But the christians changed it to mean something else.

That easter bunny was the pet of a Goddess. smile
