With Kizamaji leading the way, Mtima'safi found herself in the middle of the Pridelands. She was excited to be going to Pride Rock, where she'd been told the royal family resided. It was, without a doubt, an important part of the area. Even the walk kept the goddess in good spirits, it only proved that the land was beautiful right through. Her wings were still being hidden from the world around her, but her mind was elsewhere so she didn't think about it.
"So, Kizamaji," she struck up a conversation, catching up with her tour guide, "What is the pride like, besides yellow?"

Kizamaji walked along, joyfully. He stayed close to Mtima, and led her along the path to the center of the Pridelands. The lands were peaceful in this time of the afternoon, since the sun was somewhat brighter than normal. He peered up, only to get instantly blinded by the light above. Flailing about, he shook his head dizzy and then repositioned himself on the dusty road.
He looked back to Mtima, smiling. "Ah, whats the pride like?" He curiously asked a retorical question, before going on more. "The pride is full of colours, since the vast majority of members are rouges. I've seen green, red, purple, orange -- you name it." He looked ahead, Pride Rock was big, and even from far away, it looked like the largest inanimate object in existance. He quirked a brow. He never truely met Mufasa before, but he knew his mom had been accepted into the pride by him. He still had to see the king for himself.
"This way." He turned off the path, once again but, this one was different. The grasses led to another trail, which went straight to their destination.

Mtima laughed when she saw him glance upward and get blinded by the sun. It was a funny thing to do, and though the eyes couldn't take a lot of it, she still found it amusing. She grinned at him when he looked back at her and waited for his answer.
"Wow," she murmured, her eyes bright at the mention of all the colors. A large variety of colors were good for several reasons: each color had a meaning, it's own way of being appreciated, and it meant there were a lot of creatures there. "You didn't mention your blue, though," she commented with a smile. Her gaze shifted from him to the distant Pride Rock, it was a wonderful sight, a nice addition to the landscape.
"Ok," she nodded, turning off the current path and following him onto the next. "So, the pride is colorful. Is the majority friendly? What beliefs does the pride have?" There was almost a hesitation in the last question, it was of some interest to her, as a goddess, what the pride believed. Of course, she didn't necessarily mean just religion.

Kizamaji blinked when she started asking soo many questions. It was all soo confusing. "I didn't mention my blue because theres only me, my sister, and a few cubs. Not much blue to go around. Probably one of the rarest colours within the pride."
He nodded with the first question. "You can't get anymore friendlier with the Pridelands. Its the kindest pride in all of Africa." He frowned with the second question, though. "I do not know the beleifs, though. My mother never cared for that sort of thing, so she never told or taught me about it."
He padded ahead, thinking about what she was questioning, more or less -- why she was asking so much about the pride itself in the first place. He noticed to large oddly shaped rock ahead coming closer into view. "Ah, see it! Theres Pride Rock!" He shot ahead quickly, motivated to go see it sooner than he wanted to. "Hopefully the King or Queen will be there." The path leading to the royals' den become more visible as they were closer to the rock.
He began to slow down as they reached the path going up the side of Pride Rock to the cave. He peered up, hoping that someone was around to greet them.

Her nose wrinkled in amusement when he replied that blue was one of the rarer colors in the pride, recalling how he mentioned he didn't fit in with his pride. At least he was not the only blue one, and for 'not fitting in' he knew an adequate amount of information about them.
"Kindest pride in all of Africa! That is quite a claim," Mtima laughed, "And I suppose it says something about the beliefs and values here." It said a lot if as a group they were friendly, and the fact he mentioned they let in many rogues. She didn't think of how odd her questioning might seem, she was only curious about the pride. So far it didn't seem so surprising that many lived around here.
"Oh, hopefully," she agreed when they neared Pride Rock, hoping to see the King or Queen. Mtima's gaze followed Kiza's, expecting the same.

-From atop the rock, a large golden figure stood tall and still, peering at the lands around him. Despite his size and stature however, the pose wasn't one of intimidation, instead his eyes seeking hopefully in the distance.
Ever since he'd met Taabu.. the grandson he never knew he had, his mind had lingered onto the thoughts of family. And today he stood still, waiting, watching the horizon as if he thought he could will them to return. To see them all once again before the end came. In fact he'd been standing there since the sun had risen, unmoving, mind lost in thought.-

Kizamaji peered up above, spotting a golden lion atop of Pride Rock. "Hey, look! There's Mufasa!" He pointed, and then started racing up the path to the top. He was dying to meet this King of the Pridelands.
He led Mtima up, until they stood a few feet behind him. The blue lion instantly bowed at his presense.

With Kiza's call, Mtima's eyes were directed towards the lion standing still at the top of Pride Rock. It took her a moment to realize Kiza was no longer standing in front of her, but was on his way up Pride Rock to meet the king, Mufasa as he'd called him. She laughed inwardly and followed after the blue lion, pleased to see he was eager as well.
When they stopped a couple feet away from Mufasa, the goddess did not bow at first, instead she turned to look at Kizamaji as he bowed. It was clearly a formal greeting, she decided and glanced back at the king.

"Hmmmm?" -The sound hadn't been enough to gain his attention, so used to the common noise of children running around and savvanah. However the presence that soon stood before him dragged his eyes downward, inspecting the two gently, before a smile spread across his maw.- "Hello there."
-He took a step sidewise suddenly, as if he were afraid he was simply standing in their path to the dens, but he replied lightly nonetheless.- "Is there something I can help you two with?"

"Your majesty." He bowed a second time, and smiled. "I am Kizamaji, son of Miamba -- which i'm sure you have an idea of who that is, i'm certian?" He quirked a brow, and then looked Mtima. "Of course you do. You see, my good friend here wanted to know if she'd be able to join our pride. She came here with me, also to see you in person, just as much as I wanted to."
He chuckled a bit, and then sat down. "Mufasa. I must say, it is a great honour to meet you. My mother told me great things of you."

When Mufasa took notice of them, and Kiza bowed for a second time, the goddess did the respectful thing and mimiced the gesture. She liked the kind immediately, he did have a friendly mien. When she lifted her head, she looked back at Kiza as he introduced himself and explained why they'd come- though it surprised her a bit.
Join the pride? She would certainly love to be permitted to stay here! Something about the fact she was disguising herself made her uneasy, but she wasn't hurting anyone and was not lying. She was merely keeping one thing to herself. Nevertheless, she glanced back at Mufasa with a smile and a nod- if he said it would be ok, she would certainly join them.
"My name is Mtima'safi," she introduced herself, "It is a pleasure to meet you, I've also heard great things about you and the pride here." The great things about him were actually based on the great things about the Pride, it was a valid assumption, she felt. A good pride most often would have a good leader.

-His brow lifted softly at the enthusiastic greeting, and he settled himself comfortably, now that he knew he wasn't in the way. Listening softly to both lions, he couldn't help but laugh a little, a good natured sound, before he greeted them both, bowing his head gently.- "Pleasure to meet you Kizamaji, Mtima'safi. And indeed, I do know your family." -He may not know them well, but it was a familar name, and of course.. the shade of blue that touched the boy's coat was just as familar.-
"It's always nice to hear others have spoken well of you." -Eyes turning to the female lightly, it took him a moment to gather the words and his thoughts, before he offered gently.- "I have no issues with letting another join our happy pride. As long as you're willing to follow the few rules of the lands.. then we'd be more then happy to welcome you within."

Kizamaji smiled, and bowed once again. "I knew you would. My mother asked to join the pride such a while back. Mufasa, thank you very much. I'm sure Mtima won't cause any trouble at all." He chuckled a bit, turning to his friend.

Mtima grinned inwardly as Kiza bowed yet again, then nodded her head politely to Mufasa to agree with what her companion said.
"I'd be more than willing to do so," she said confidently, "What rules are there that I should know about?" It was important to know the rules if you intended to follow them, ignorance was not a good excuse and ignorant was not something the goddess wished to be.

-He smiled so grandly that he nearly seemed to chuckle at the pleasant atmosphere the to brought. But he nodded gently at the question, obliging softly.-- "They're really more common sense then anything."
"First and foremost, we do not tolerate anyone harming members of the pride. Be they lions, leopards, we even have some jackals and smaller animals."
"Everyone within the pride is equal. Royalty is no better then a rogue and all members are respected."
"And we don't waste within the pridelands. There are always hungry mouths around that would be happy to share in any extras. As of late we've had quite the boom of young ones. So help hunting is always appreciated."
