ok, i posted this in another thread in the table top forum here. it turned out to be such a huge list, that i thought i'd contribute to the D&D guild(im new here) by posting such a topic(i didnt see any other threads of similar topic).

Quote:
polymorph any object your party's fighters into firebolgs(the modifiers can add up to 9 if you agree giants are similar to humans, thus making it permanent). not only that, the spell states that unlike other polymorph spells, the int of the new creature is kept if it is higher than your current score. free int boost for fighters.

it could be interpreted that since certain skills cannot be used untrained, that if you find a person to teach you one rank or so in an untrained skill, that you can use it(tumble, open lock, pickpocket, etc)

getting low on health as a wiz or sorc? cast shapechange, choose hydra for fst heal 10+# of heads. viola!

dancing chains out of the book of vile darkness was a favorite of mine. it works much like telekinesis in respect to grapples, trips, sunders, etc, except you can make multiples attempts and have many chains to attempt with. also can attack with each one as a spiked chain(2 chains a level if i recall). need to climb that cliff? use your chains instead. or surround yourself in them, allowing for AoO when something enters your space, almost like blade barrier.

antimagic field only suppresses magic, so it could be interpreted that casting *in* one doesnt mean it fails, but that it is suppressed. cast antimagic field on yourself, and have at it; all your spells will take effect just outside of the field. no magic weapons, armor, or magic can hurt you (for the duration at least) even better, theres a spell from some book called antimagic aura(7th level, works exactly the same, cept range is only you) walk into melee range, fireball(or similar spell, effective for those short range goodie spells) the crap out of yourself...instant meyhem!

need scrolls, but dont wanna expend XP? leadership feat works well, jut have your cohort do it for you. if need be, buy him a helm of sustainence and stick him in your portable hole mrgreen

use the spell grease and web/entangling on a horde of enemies. those who fall down are not only prone, but entangled, and must free themselves of each condition seperately

isaac's missile storm is a spell from neverwinter nights that i used in my last campaign, as a 6th level spell. it works exactly like magic missile, but gives you 2 missiles a caster level. my group fought a shadow dragon once, and couldnt kill it, til us spell casters thought, "missile storm!" long story short, not only did we attack the darkness, we killed it too. with magic missile razz

a spell called flame chase(7th level) was an all time fav of mine, next to dancing chains. it works exactly like flame strike, except there is no specified max damage(in d8s) its a homing spell(like magic missile) and its arcane. you cast it, it appears 5 feet in front of you and moves towards the target at 5 feet faster than the targets speed(running or walking) in addition, flaming crosshairs appear on the targets back and cannot be removed until hit with spell. it allows no reflex save for hte intended target, but only to others in the path of it

if you ever have 15 bucks to blow, go to ENWorld.com, and but the PDF titled "Arcane Strife". believe me, you wont be sorry

i found a PDF on morpheus titled 'planarmetals35e'. it outlines didfferent types of metals and what they do that you can use to add flavor to your campaign, besides just boring old steel. also includes different levels of masterwork quality

speaking of PDFs on morpheus, search for this one
Dungeons And Dragons - The Big Book of RPG Practical Jokes and Pranks
im not giving these away, theyre just too good surprised

check out crystalkeep, and download whatever you like. they're compilations of almost all spells, items, abilities, skills, etc currently used in d20, including from abstract sources like dragon mag, and the supplemental materials.
i suggest the magic weapons and armor PDF for a near complete list of enhancements to use, some are really cool. the sorcerer/wizard spells PDF is handy, it has new spells for arcane users that are quite neat. check it out

man, ive got so many more tips and cheesy tricks...thats what you get for playing in a completely insane campaign

i must admit i found the polymorph any object one on giantitp.com, its a good one though

feel free to add any of your own
