Race: No one, not even herself is sure of the answer but her race has some control over fire. Her race can also see threads that go through the air. Each person has a different coloured thread and can manipulate it, only if they can see it. The threads go from any raw material that the person has made direct contact with. Jod wears gloves to avoid too many raw materials possessing her coloured thread. That would make it too easy for her to be followed. If you have contact with your thread, you can control the object with thoughts. You can also break you thread, though that is very difficult.

Appearance: She has shoulder-length dark brown hair. Her eyes are icy blue, and they glow softly. Her skin is always pale, regardless of how much time she spends in the sun. She usually wears black leather gloves, black boots and a black robe. Jod always wears a belt. It has many black leather pouchs on it and holds her fan, metal playing cards and metal edged playing cards, along with many polishing cloths, whetstones, notebooks, pens and a bottle of wood polish. Her fan has bluish steel ribs. The fabric is a deep, blood red silk. The outer ribs are dull at the base, but razor sharp at the tips. Her metal playing cards are razor sharp edged of bluish steel, with red colored symbols and numbers that match normal playing cards. Her metal edged playing cards are normal playing cards with bluish steel edges to them. The edges are razor sharp. Her dowel is usually strapped to her back using a complicated sheath((Fastened around the middle of the dowel, it is a cylinder of one foot, two inches. From that is a loop for keeping the dowel on a shoulder. Her dowel is five feet long and two inches in diameter. It comes apart in the middle, each part two and a half feet. The ends come off, two feet off each, halved. What it reveals((same on both sides)) is double edged twenty-three inch blade, almost like a broadsword blade but lighter and thinner. It is of the same bluish tempered steel as everything else of hers that is steel. On her back is a quiver of arrows, all made out of maple branches and all fletched with blood red feathers. Also in the quiver is the wooden part of the bow. In a pouch on her belt is a bunch of bowstrings. Also in a sheath on her belt (the sheath looks like all the other pouchs on her belt) is a knife, the blade of a bluish steel.
