 Takai sat on a bench in the park. There was an umbrella at his side, just incase it would rain. "How boring..." he said, staring up at the cloudy sky, even if it did hurt his eyes. His mom wanted him to make friends, but he'd much rather be running through his feild then sitting in a park. His eart flicked slightly as he sighed and turned away from the sky. He was ready to leave from home and abandonded the useless attempt.

It was a mild summer day, and Taye had decided to take a walk through the park. He was mostly enjoying the cooler weather rather than the nice scenery of the park, however, because his eyes were busy watching for debris in the path. If he wasn't very careful he just knew he'd trip, and he wasn't looking for any injuries.
Because he was looking downward, he almost completely missed the other cat boy sitting on a bench along the path. When he did notice him sitting there they were only about three feet apart, and the surprise made Taye jump. "Oh!" he exclaimed. He gave a sheepish grin. "Hi there."

Takai stood up. His ears flicked again as he heard a sound. A voice? He looked towards the direction of the voice, seeing the older cat boy. He had never been a social person.
His ears flattened against his head in a someone caustious state. "Hello," he sort of mummbled, but enough for someone to know what he was saying. He gave a jittered, and slightly hyper twitch.

Taye's face changed from one of sheepish embarassment to one of concern. "Are you alright?" he asked, noticing the other's twitch. "I'm sorry if I scared you. I even scared myself when I didn't notice you right away." Taye really didn't think that that was the case, as he'd mumbled a hello before the twitch, but he was hoping that the twitch wasn't because he had started an unwanted conversation. It happened to him often enough.

Takai twitched again. He wanted to bolt. But not out of fear. He wanted to run down energy, since he had been sitting there for a while. It just have him an energy build up. "I'm fine, just a bit of an engery rush.." he said. His ears flicked back up.
He twitch again, and fiddled.

"Ah, I see," Taye said. "I'm usually not overly energetic. Which is probably good, because I'm not very well coordinated." He looked the other boy over. "If you want to run around or something that's fine, I can leave you be."

"I was sent out here to make friends..." he said," before the other cat could leave. He shifted nervously. He was a bit antisocial. His mom always told him not to be.

"Well, you could always go run around quick and I can wait here, if you'd like to talk or do something?" Taye offered, not in any hurry to get anywhere. He always liked making new friends. "I'm Taye, by the way. What's your name?"

"Or you could just sit down and I can run around the table," he said with a childish grin. "My name's Takai," he said. He said, picking up the umbrella that was discarded on the bench.

"That would work, too," Taye agreed, smiling back. "It's nice to meet you, Takai."
Taye was unsure what to talk about, as he didn't know the other's interests. So he figured that was as good a topic as any to open with. "What do you like to do? Besides running?" he asked, sitting down on the bench and cocking his head, waiting.

suddenly feeling drained, he sat down again as well. His tail gave a softer sawy, unlike the very hyper twitch it gave when he had a lot of engery. "Nice to meet you as well." he said.
Listening further, he then replied. "Well, I enjoy reading and I do like to write sometimes. I wanna try a lot of things though," He said.

"Ooh, I like reading," Taye said, "I've never tried writing though. Maybe I should." His tail poked out behind the bench and was swishing slowly as well. "What kinds of other things?"

"You should try. It's fun," she said," his tail giving a happy sway. "Other things... like bungee jumping and flying an airplane," he said, saying his highest dreams proudly.

"Oh wow, I don't know about bungee jumping. I'd be too afraid! I wouldn't mind being a passenger in an airplane, but I wouldn't want to fly one," Taye said, amazed at Takai's dreams. His own weren't quite so daring.
"I want to learn how to cook so I can do it without messing anything up, and maybe learn how to ride a bike. Oh, and I'd like to learn another language," he said proudly. "Nobody would let me near a bike when I was young, I got hurt enough using my own two feet for transportation."

Takai chuckled. Yeah, but I lik to be daring!" he said looking up at the sky.
"Ride a bike?" he asked. "I've nevery tried that. I have to try that I guess. I usually just run!" he said with a grin.
