I'm trying to see if I'm the only weird one, who seems to write best at about 2AM. 3/4 of the things I have written were composed in the early morning hours.
I write in my ginormous reading chair, and I have plenty of notebooks on hand. I also write a lot when I've got nothing better to do during long lectures (and bonus point-it looks like you're taking notes ^^).
So, what about everyone here?

I write everywhere pretty much. Alot though is early morning though --3/4AM-- One of my favorite places though. Is on my roof. --or a roof--
My boyfriend caught me once. I was staying the night at his house. And I guess when I moved out of his arms. He woke up and followed me onto his roof. --He scared me soo bad I almost fell off stressed --
Anyways. I always seem to have a pen on hand. I will be walking the halls scribbling on my arms. and I will admit. I have written in library books. and coffee house napkins. But all those pieces are original and will only that copy exists

I don't write early mornings like that. I need about 10 hours of sleep to be able to function properly, so yeah...
I normally write aaaaanytime I don't have anything else to do. Occasionally I write while surfing the Web, but most times I just sit with a notebook in my lap and wing it.

I write whenever I get inspired to. I always want to write, but a lot of the time, I have nothing to write about. I write in notebooks while I'm on my bed, a couch, the floor, or at school.

You're not alone. I write in the early hours, some times I stay up almost all night writing. I usely start around one in the morning, and usually end around five or so. When I "can't get to sleep" around one, that's when I pick up a pen and write. My bedtime's 10:30 PM since I'm only twelve, but I end up going to be around midnight because I'm not tired. I write in my bed, and on my headboard there's cups and cups and cups filled to the brim with pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, whatever I can write with. On the top of my headboard, there's a giant stack of- you guessed it- notebooks. Next to it, which is supposedly a bookshelf, is my compisition books. I write short stories in my compisition books (which I also use as my journal), and I write novels in my spiral notebooks. I have around thirty of both compisition books and spirals, but only twenty-four are in use currently. In my purse, there's two if those small mini spiral notebooks, and a bunch of tiny papers. In case I get bored in school, or possibly get some inspiration. I always carry my mechanical pencil around with me, along with one or two spare pieves of lead tucked away. Many times, I get inspiration from reading something, something my teachers saying, or just at random moments. Most of my inspiration comes at school, and I write it down, but most of the time I actually write the stories and songs in the early morning.

I have:
One older step-sister, and her baby daughter (21 and 1, respectively). Two younger brothers. (15, 11) One younger half-brother. (7) One younger step-brother. (14) One younger step-sister. (12) A dog. (5) A cat. (13)
I write whenever it's quiet. Usually, after everyone has gone off to bed. After 11:00 PM.
I'm paper shy, I write better on the computer. I find it much easier to go back and change things on a computer, and I'm not one to make sacred the first copy.

I like to write when no ones around, most of the time. Sometimes I'll go out of my way to make everyone go away and leave me to write. I write mostly in bed at 12:00 or in the mornings at 4:00, my Dad goes to work at 3:00 A.M. I really enjoy writing in the mornings the best!

I like to write late at night to but I alse write during breaks and lunches at work and somtimes in between cusomers if I'm in a big writing mood. I like to write on my bed or on the computer. I have a cabinet full of notebooks, must of them full. I also try to remember to carry a notebook for ideas that come to me but I forget a lot and have notes on scraps of paper from work, napkins, or anything else I can find.

I write whenever something comes to me as well, which can happen anytime. Though, when it does happen, I usually forget about it and get on Gaia... *sigh* This site is like a drug... a very bad drug...

I write every single moment of my life--if I have a good story, t never leaves my head. When I'm wiriting a novel, I'm always thinking about it, making new characters, untangling plot twists, and generally filling in around the basic "good-versus-evil" plotline.
I'd estimate about half my computer's memory (which is 300-400 whatever-they-are-s) is filled with senselss strings of words...and three times more is in my poor head. xp

I almost always write at night. I like it when it's dark and quiet, no one else is around to bother me or interrupt me in the middle of a thought. I brainstrorm stuff in a notebook, but my actual writing is all on a computer. For some reason, anything I write on paper turns out crappy; I guess it just helps to see it out neatly or something, I dunno...
