The little klipspringer fawn was no more than a few days old and she was already curious about everything. Nivi had a thirst for knowledge and wanted to know everything around her. Her golden eyes lit up at everything new that happened, such as a leaf falling or the sound of a stream. Still a bit wobbly on her legs, the small fawn stumbled a bit before she came to the stream and gazed down at her reflection. Blue like the water.

Lime green eyes searched high and low, Sevati was supposed to have kept watch on little Nivi while her mother went off to find something to eat. The little white cub was scrambling back and forth through the jungle searching for the little fawn. In a soft voice, she called out, "Nivi! Nivi, where are you?"
She didn't see her anywhere. Not in the den, not near the bushes, not near the rocks...but wait! There was still the stream to search, she hasn't checked there yet. Hope began to fill inside of her as she made her way towards the stream.

Golden eyes watched the stream go by, the water hit against some small rocks as little silvery fish darted back forth. The little fawn was curious and so, putting one hoof in front of the other, she slowly made her way into the cool stream. It seeped through her fur, chilling her to the bone, but it was refreshing on this day. "Oh! Cold!" Unbeknownst to her that Sevati was searching for her, and would be here shortly.

Red tipped paws knew their way to the stream, it was a place Sevati went to all the time. It was calm and peaceful and something else she didn't know how to describe. Lime green eyes were alert as she looked ahead, anxious to see the little blue fawn at the stream. Ears perked up as she heard the stream, not too far now! And just around this bush, there! There was the elusive Nivi, getting ready to walk into the stream...walk into the stream?! Her senses were on high alert as she called out to the fawn, "Nivi! Nivi! Don't go too far into the water!" She rushed to the shore of the stream.

Overly large ears perked up and flicked back at the sound of her name. Startled, Nivi stumbled into the water before picking herself up. Turning to look at Sevati, the little fawn smiled to her friend. "Hi Sevati!" Her little tail wagged, making her sway from side to side before she went back to the shore, "I wasn't going in too far, Sevati."

Letting a sigh escape, Sevati didn't even realize she had held her breath until now. She was deeply worried about her new charge, Nivi was so small and tiny. And that's when it hit her. She was thinking like a parent would a baby! She was the smallest of her sisters, just like Nivi was tiny. Now, with a better understanding of things, this sure was a good lesson for her.
Lime green eyes lit up as she walked over to Nivi before nudging her softly, "Don't scare me like that. Some parts of this stream are so deep that you might go under." Turning back towards the stream, she smiled to the fawn. "Do you want to play then?"

At the word 'play' the little blue fawn perked up and nodded her head vigorously. "Yes! Yes!" Nivi was excited at the idea of playing with Sevati, though what would they play? Her golden eyes were wide as she went to the cub, "What are we going to play, Sevati?"

Lime green eyes looked to the stream before shifting towards their surroundings. An idea came to Sevati, "How about we go on a hunt for new things? I'm sure there is a lot you don't know yet and we can make a game to see if you can guess it correctly or not!" It would be nice to teach Nivi everything she knew about her home here in the Mistweaver's land. Turning from the stream and towards the trees, she glanced back at the blue klipspringer fawn, "Come on, Nivi! Let's begin!"

New things? That sounded like fun to the little fawn. Eager to go on an adventure around this area in which she was born, Nivi was close behind her caretaker. Ears turned at every sound, taking everything thing in with every sense she had. "Where are we going first, Sevati? Can we go to the rocks? Pretty please?" Giving the white cub a big, innocent smile.

One look at that face and Sevati could feel all her resolve go right down the drain. There was no way she could say no to that. In a tiny voice, she looked to the rocks where most of the dens where, or at least that's what she guessed anyhow. "Alright, but be very careful. I don't want you to fall off the rocks and hurt yourself, you hear?" Padding her way quietly to the rocks she spotted them up ahead, "Okay, I want you to follow close behind me until we get to a spot where we can both stand."

Not wanting to be left behind, Nivi half stumbled and ran after Sevati, keeping close to her. As the rocks came closer, her mother didn't let her on these but with Sevati here, she was going to have that chance to explore! Ears turned at Sevati's words, "Yes Sevati, I'll be careful." While she tried to stay calm, she was just so excited as her whole body wagged with her tiny tail.

Lime green eyes watched Nivi climb up the rock as worry spread across the white cub. Sevati didn't want anything to happen to her new companion and have to face an angry mother. Her tail flicked from side to side as she waited for the small fawn to stand next to her. Once she was close, she smiled, "That's good. Now do you want to start?"
